The Redfin Agent I spoke with ***************************** was very rude, not focused and did not make much sense. He rescheduled our initial apt but had a limited schedule. The worst part was he was very negative about my home not being in ******** or *********** and spent a lot of time on that fact then told me that he couldn't get $1M for my home which I didnt ask for. I then called Redfin back and spoke to the Sales consultant who matched me up with him **** and told him of my bad experience. **** said he would connect me with another agent but instead I received a voicemail message telling me to go find an agent with a different company on my own just because I felt that ***************************** was not a good fit for me. I wouldn't event think that is ethical? To say the least its very bad customer service!Review from Sandra G

I have never used Redfin, and I would never use an outfit like Redfin to sell my house. Yet, Redfin managed to have my address added to their website without my consent or knowledge. Redfin not only added my address, but also a picture of my house. I am outraged at the horrible invasion of my privacy. Redfin also managed to get on my ****** platform and had access to sensitive information without my knowledge or consent. I have put in two requests on their website to have my address and picture of my house removed from their website, and they have done nothing about it. I have called their ********************* twice and both times got a recording to leave a message and that someone would call me back. My calls were not returned. My house has been off the market for 22 years, and I have no intention of selling it. So, I have no idea why Redfin would put my address on the internet under their website. THIS IS SCARY STUFF.Review from S and J

STAY AWAY! They call it a budget real estate company for a reason. Maybe it used to be good (we went w/Redfin because we had a friend who used a Redfin agent to sell their house years ago) but it is a JOKE now! We are in the same NoVA area as our friends were . Same area, previously great service- you would think that more time/more experience would mean even better service, right? Think again. Because of what was either absolute apathy, complete lack of experience (they sell it as a 'team' & push 'collective' success- now we know that's code for our agents knows nothing on their own) overall gross negligence or probable combo of the 3-- my ************ future plans were sent up in smoke. The listing 'strategy' BOMBED. We lost all advantage of the seller's market. They also tell you about an 'always available team'-- this is code for your agent is grossly overbooked & will rarely if ever be available when you actually need them. You also get this personalized seller's website for 'selling convenience in the modern age.' Laughable! Not even a website, essentially a checklist you update yourself containing the most basic of information you already know.Oh, & notice how the Redfin estimate isn't a thing anymore? You can't even find comps for most homes on Redfin like you can everywhere else. So much for the most technologically savvy brokerage! Everything about Redfin is a joke in the least funny of ways. My fiance and I learned the hard way. Learn from our mistake & avoid the tears! Yes, actual tears. On top of it, they've discounted their service but raised their prices since our friends used them! Seem backwards to you too? & would it surprise you to know that when my ********** specifically asked for our friend's prior agent to take over hoping she could salvage things, we were told she left Redfin 5/6 yrs ago. Seems the good realtors figured out yrs ago what I wish I'd known: Redfin is truly the worst. Truly, you'd be better off letting a monkey sell your house.Review from Tolis V

We listed our house with Redfins premium service. The agent seemed reasonably knowledgeable, but at the end of the day and at no fault to the house two offers fell through. We had a heart to heart with the agent regarding due diligence from their end and general expectations from our end. Two days later, Redfin decided to rescind our contract and let us go. This was two days before our departure for a trip abroad, meaning they picked the worst possible time to have us scrambling to find another real estate agency to represent us so that the house can remain on the market. Redfin is absolutely unscrupulous. Our separation notification was a standard type email from the agent who didnt even have the gumption to call and explain her decision. If you chose to list with Redfin, you should realize that it will only work for typical transactions. If your situation encounters any hiccups be prepared for them to drop you at any time.Review from Roya G

I been touring for redfin for awhile. In spring last year I found two houses in which the agent didnt put the offer in on time and I lost both houses. Since I have been touring with Redfin and have been unable to secure a house with inflation and cash buyers winning all offers. Today the lead agent *************************** blocks my access to scheduling for showing. I reached out to her multiple times but never recieved a response. Then I reached out to her manager ***************************** who stated I was touring too much, I didn't have a pre approval letter and I was looking at houses I could not afford. I don't know how they know I can't afford a house, I have a preapproval letter which I gave to the agent who was replaced , I also have cash for down payment and as I mentioned due to inflation and cash buyers I have difficulty winning the offers.I thought redfin was into selling and helping buyers finding a house. The manager ****** stated lead agent ****** tried calling me numerous times, that is not true. ****** sent me one email and I responded to her the same day.The agents are rude, redfin should look into there managmwnt. They just lost a buyer as well as a seller since I have a house to sell as well. I will not recommend redfin to anyone. After loosing 2 houses they are trying to blame me for there lack of response and uneffiency. Don't list your house with them or try to buy with them you will miss deadlines and loose houses. I started working with another Platform and agent, I can't express who nice it is to work with a lead agent who is responsive and quick. One thing I have to say l, the showing agents are wonderful but are under unorganized management. Absolutely horrible.Review from Tina F

I think the place is frightening. Management has NO idea what they are doing. They attempt to force you a lender company called Bay Equity which they by the way have higher loan interest rates. Bay Equity loan officers don't know what they are doing either. I had a Bay Equity lender that literally a day before closing when I let buyers know they had 5 additional to review new information from a contractors bid a Bay Equity lender emailed to me, the listing agents and title that yes this was closing tomorrow no matter what. She really showed her GREED and ignorance. Stay away from this company it's a liability place waiting for a lawsuit with the ignorance and GREED. ************************* is my name a realtor for 20 years. I don't have anything to hide because emails to back up what I am saying. You will be hearing from my attorney soon Redfin and the **** If I could give this place ZERO stars I wouldReview from David D

I think it is absurd that sellers are able to constantly remove and re-list homes for sale, in order to manipulate the *** (Days on Market), and perpetuate this inflated real estate market. If these companies were actually honest, looking out for consumers, they would not allow this practice. These sellers should be forced to disclose all listing and removals, the prices set each time, and *** should continue to accumulate, and not reset each time. Such a load of c***Redfin Response

Greetings, my name is *****. I am the **************** Manager here at **********************. Days on Market is a standard measurement for active real estate listings across all real estate. I understand the frustration regarding agents who remove properties and relist them, but unfortunately, we have no authority over other brokerages.Review from Trey H

Luck of the draw with their realtors. First realtor I had was incredible but she just had a baby and got replaced by her boss. Her boss ***** at communication. It takes her a day or so to respond to any inquiries and she doesn't inform us of anything like final walk through dates etc. I feel left in the dark constantly. She even does stuff without consulting me like putting $5k as ******* money on a land offer. I have requested a new realtor from Redfin and they closed the ticket without doing anything.Review from Rayfaye L

*******************************, Redfin agent, does not have a good communication between clients, buyers agents and her as sellers agent. She never responded my request to meet her in person after I signed up a house sale contract with Redfin. She doesnt provide any feedback after the potential buyers and agents visited my house. She promised to check the buyers loan status every 2-3 days constantly. But, the reality is not true. Our home came back to market after the buyers loan failed. It caused us a deep trouble with an apartment leasing officer because we signed up a leasing contract. Before we signed this leasing contract, we did confirm with ******* again and again and got her words to proceed the leasing contract. The loan failed on the closing date. The buyers agent is also Redfin real estate agent. I dont understand why it would be happen at all. ******* is so-called one of top agents of Redfin. We have done best efforts to coordinate with *******s requests. We decided to withdraw our listing from market for now.Review from Angel V
