They called my phone number, saying there was a "Civil complaint" from "SHELL Gas station's Credit Card" FOR MY FATHER. I spoke to them, they gave me a file #****** with a phone number of "************" They said they tried to deliver documentation for signature on "Tuesday, January 9th" Which I WAS HOME THE WHOLE DAY. They consider themself a mitigation law firm."APPARENTLY" My father had a ********** Card/Aka Credit Card" that had a balance of idk how much they said, but said out-of-court fees were $900 ish. Doesn't make sense right? Ok SO I CALL SHELL GAS CREDIT CARD SERVICE WITH MY FATHER, and give all information of phone numbers, SSN , etc. NONE CAME BACK of him having an existing account with SHELL.The scary part is they SOMEHOW know his "SOCIAL SECURITY # "I even googled them on Reddit. ***************************************************************************

Arnett + Ashworth called me claiming they could not get in touch with me by mail and that EzCorp/EzMoney was going to file a civil suit against me for $975.00 for a payday loan from 2014. I never had a loan from this company. They had the last 4 digits of my social security number and my bank name which is no longer operating along with my email address. I explained it did not belong to me and asked for documentation and was told that would only be provided during the discovery process in court. They said I only had 24 hours and then it was out of their hands. The bank I used in 2014 is no longer operating and I didnt know what to do. They said I could pay a reduced amount of $325.00 and it would stop this civil suit. I was quite upset and feared this bogus claim would mess up my credit report so I agreed to pay. I used a credit card. The women said her name was ******************************* and her direct number is ************. They sent emails from Dropbox Sign providing a receipt and a letter stating it was paid in full. No emails were received from their business name. After I googled all of this, it seems to have happened to others as well.
