On June 16th my fiance was charged $1,600 for front brake pads and rotors to be installed with labor! Anyone out there who knows anything about cars already knows how much of a total rip off this is If they did all four breaks that would still be expensive! One month later we are on a road trip and the worst sound and shaking of the left side of the car started to happen while we were driving it was very scary. After I inspected the vehicle I noticed the bolt was never put back in to the top bolt on the left brake caliper causing The entire break, rotors, calibers, and hoses to all be compromised. After bringing the car back to the shop yesterday which was July 16th they called me and told me you're all set we put the bolt back in! Can you believe a mechanic thought that after the entire breaking system was moved and had physical damage thought it was okay to just put the bolt back in. The breaking hose is compromised the caliber is compromised the rotors are compromised and they told me it was safe to drive after putting in a bolt. I told them this is unsatisfactory and they needed to replace which they did however on our drive home our left tire blew out, my fiance I literally watched almost die and I called the shop and said this is not good they said in the report we told you there was a s**** in the left front tire! Not one single employee verbally told us there was a s**** in the tire! These people should be shut down for safety reasons alone! They're mechanics are clearly not educated and are going to kill someone in the future I'm just glad it wasn't usBusiness response

We were notified July 16th that a caliper **** was missing from ***************************** vehicle. We were not able to address the issue that day and had booked them in for an appointment. After looking at the vehicle we determined the caliper slider bolt that is tightened at the factory, had come loose and came out. We checked the caliper, pads, rotor, and brake hose and found the damage was cosmetic. Upon request we replaced the parts with new parts. We replaced the caliper, pads and rotor on the left front free of charge underneath the warranty. We advised on pickup that there was also a bolt in the left front tire but that we were not able to repair it because the tires are low on tread. We agreed to cover the cost of towing the vehicle and we wrote that to the customer in a text message and advised we would not reimburse other expenses. Upon pick up, we were not provided with a tow bill, but we had made it clear we would provide a credit on the customers open balance with our facility once we received invoices of the tow bill. The customers companion, ****, has been very volatile with staff members and threatening. We have not been able to communicate with the actual vehicle owner throughout this process. **** demands ******** balance is completely cleared out which is theft because the services were performed, and parts were installed. We were informed the check engine light came on after it was picked up, but a check engine light does not signal a brake malfunction. I am not able to approve a refund without receipts which have still not been provided.Customer response

I think I may have accidentally closed the case. I received the businesses response, I think it's comical that they are calling theft on my end when they are the ones that should be charged for theft! I have all the receipts. I am absolutely not paying for a job that was not done properly. The check engine light is on but also the *** light and all other lights connected to automatic braking automatic steering etc. There's a lot more going on than they think. I demand a full refund plus compensation for everything else I lostCustomer response

At this point we had a catastrophic failure of our break because a bolt was not put in properly. They are not even taking responsibility saying that it was the people that sent them the parts fault! Are you kidding me You're going to blame someone else for your error! Second they charge $1,600 to do two breaks and rotors even if this was all four breaks and rotors that would still be a rip off they took advantage of a *******! We booked our Airbnb the morning we left when the brakes failed. We could not get our money back for the Airbnb. We had to rent a car for the 4 days we didn't have a car. We had to Uber a couple times to get to where we needed to go. The toe is only $80 because we were trying to be nice so we signed up for AAA which cost $200 so the tow bill is a total of 280 which is still $200 less than what it should be. I now am expecting a full refund from what ******* already paid which was $500 and some change plus I want to be reimbursed for my attached files. If the company does not do this they are failing to stand behind their work. They are failing to be good people. Do what's right refund us pay us the money we lost and we can all move on
