      I bought a lemon from a dealership in *******, and took the truck to ******* Garage on Aug. 10. Shop owner demanded payment for invoice of $3100 plus on Aug. 18 which dealership paid. It is now Sept 9 and the shop still hasn't completed work. Shop owner has hung up on me and refuses to speak with me. The tech keeps making excuses for why work isn't completed. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed budget who isn't currently capable of walking the six miles to see if my vehicle is even at the shop. Please help.

      This Lemon he bought from the dealership had more issues than we anticipated, the time it took was due to parts availability and time.   This vehicle was at best a bad purchase, this has no bearing on my shop, or what and how long it took, in getting into the vehicle to do the repairs, we found that the rocker arms were bent, we replaced them, we further found that the knock sensor was unhooked, the engine light cable was cut so that no engine light could be seen,  we repaired and replaced ALL of it and made it safe for the customer.   As far as being hung up on, or calls not answered  that is FALSE information, my Technician was in contact with him as we found other issues with the vehicle.

      I received the vehicle back on Sept 12 2023. I had to pay an additional $1294 in repairs after the dealership had paid over $3100 on the 18th of August.

      I received abusive texts from the owner after she had found out about the BBB complaint which I have not deleted.

      The reason I reported to the BBB was that the shop had held the vehicle for 30 days, including 20 after the initial bill was paid, which would indicate the work was done. Evidently it was not so even if I bought a lemon online I have no recourse now.

      It was me calling the shop every other day asking for updates, wondering if my vehicle was being stolen. The only time the shop called was to tell me the work wasn't going to be done before labor day weekend and they were taking the 4 days off.

      The vehicle appears to be operating fine, but I will never go to that garage again for work done.
