      The claim was processed incorrectly and I paid my bill in full while waiting for the claim to be reprocessed. Once the claim was reprocessed she reimbursed me for what the insurance paid her but she did not reimburse me for her provider discount and she is in network. So she still owes me $301.00.

      Dr. ********************** is only going by the original EOB.  Lifewise processed the claim as out of network.  She is IN NETWORK so I appealed it.  They reprocessed it as In Network after I had paid the claim.  My total responsibility is only $310.00.  She is refusing to refund her provider write off according to her contract.  Lifewise has called their office and spoke with both *** and ***** telling them that they are in network that they have to refund me the provider adjustment.  *** told them they had to speak to Dr. ********************** they she turned everything over to her.  Lifewise tried multiple times to reach Dr. ********************** but she refused their phone calls each time.  Lifewise told me she cannot keep the money.  I said what can I do?  They told me to file a complaint with the BBB and they filed a complaint against her within Lifewise as well.

      I don't understand why this was closed.  I did respond on Feb. 5th **** and Dr. ********************** never refunded me so this has NOT been resolved.  I paid the claim in Full because Lifewise processed the claim as out of network.  She is IN NETWORK so I appealed the claim.  They reprocessed it as In Network after I had paid the claim in full.  She reimbursed me what the insurance payment but she is refusing to reimburse me for her provider write off. She says I have a zero balance and that is only because she never posted her provider adjustment to my account.  If she would I would have a credit balance of $301.00.  My total responsibility is only $310.00 and she kept $611.00 of my money so she owes me $301.00.  She is ignoring the corrected EOB and only going by the originally processed claim. Lifewise has called their office, as have I and spoke with both *** and ***** telling them that they are in network that they have to refund me the provider adjustment per her contract. *** told Lifewise they had to speak to Dr. ********************** that she turned everything over to her, ******** Dr. ********************** refused their phone calls each time with the receptionist always saying she is with a patient. Lifewise left the case# with *** and asked her to have Dr. ********************** call them which she has not done.  Lifewise told me on the phone she cannot keep the money but that still didn't get my refund.
