      Their customer service is so awful.Their customer service is so awful and they have no enough info to share with their customers for customized boots.I want to order boots and their website has only customization option to order them. This is ok but whatever options I select I don't see that reflects to pictures on their website because it doesn't have that feature. They want me to order customized item without seeing how it will look at $500 price points with considering their ordinary return policy. That doesn't make sense to me. Irony is, I sent them email and requesting pictures and they point me to check out their ******* channel with thousands video in it and IG page to find it out on my own. That's something very ridiculous to me. In the Email they clearly mentioned that ask us anything except Picture of items you need.All this happened while chasing them for their response for a week.

      I recently ordered a pair of Falcons in Predator Orange from Nicks Handmade Boots. I have had them for about two weeks and they are breaking in nicely. They are far and away the nicest pair of boots I have ever owned. They weren't cheap, but are so worth the money. The fit, finish, and construction materials are top notch. I love that they are made in *******. It took about 8 weeks to complete my order, which was what they advertised on their website. Customer service kept me up to date on the build status of my order with regular emails. Now that I have been wearing the Falcons, I feel like I am putting on kid shoes when I wear my other sets of boots. I'm really happy and feel good about the significant amount of money I spent.

      My experience with Nicks boots is a red flag for any potential buyers of Nicks boots my fitting/appointment was in person at great cost of time and money to me ( my fault ) 5 months pass and the box finally arrived and was opened only to find that the wrong boots were built ( not hotshots ) no laces , and no boot oil , all those items are advertised to be in the box with the boots , the worse part I endured was the *************** and his entire team trying to get me to KEEP those boots , I also endured emails from the *************** stating that Nicks as a matter of company policy always does the right thing , *************** said in his email Nicks would build me the boots I ordered free of charge and I could keep the boots that were built this is false and wrong , this folks is a lie , Nicks demands the boots back , nicks says they refund your money (thankfully) but only when you send the boots back , as of this writing I havent been reimbursed and Ive sent the boosts back to Nicks

      Something of note , the boots I ordered cost$714.33 boots no laces , no boot oil as advertised Boots received cost $550.00 when *************** and his team were pressed on this discrepancy his team offered only a $50 refund and pressured me to keep the boots that I didnt order ( fraud ) also Id like to point out the 5 plus month wait time for the order , its my belief thats so the credit card purchase cant be disputed by the customer, thats something to think about before doing business with Nicks boots and like I wrote previously the boots were demanded returned before any refund despite multiple emails stating I could keep them and nicks would ( make it right) by building the pair I ordered and sending them free of charge

      This is the response that was submitted to Roger ***** on 1/20/21. Hi Roger, My name is Grant *********. I am the general manager at Nicks. I have been working closely with Micah on this case. First and foremost, I apologize that the RedX was missed on this order. That was 100% our fault. We take full responsibility for the mistake. As a policy, when we make a mistake, we fix it and make it right. Normally we exchange and replace the boot no questions asked. In this case, given the significant customization on the uppers, this boot will be nearly impossible for us to resell. I understand that is not your problem: it is our problem. But sometimes we ask our customers if they would be willing to work with us on a resolution for customized boots. Our boots are designed to be resoled without causing any integral compromises. Resoling this boot is as simple as reheating the sole, removing it, and attaching the correct sole in a new condition. Would you be open to this if we can guarantee that quality will not be compromised? Alternatively: 1) We can send you a return label, retrieve the boots from you, and remake a brand new set with the RedX. No problem! Your non-RedX boots will be tossed. 1) We can issue you a full refund per your request. The non-RedX boots will be tossed. 2) You can keep the boots as is and we can issue you a $150 dollar refund for the mistake. We would send your White's Boot back to you on our dime. 3) You can keep that pair and instead of rebuilding your White's, we would make a new pair with the RedX for you at a rebuild price $299. You would then have a RedX pair and a non-RedX pair....and you would still have your freshly rebuilt White's. A note on RedX soles. We built our flagship fire boot, the Hotshot, for nearly 3 decades without the RedX soles. We were "forced" into the RedX sole market when the 1977 NFPA Fire Boot standard was established. While the RedX has a "no melt" property, the non RedX has decades of testing on fire lines and holds up without issues. We actually discourage RedX soles unless your fire department 100% requires that the boots need to be NFPA certified. Again, I sincerely apologize for the mistake. Let us know how you would like to proceed. I am happy to give you a call tomorrow to discuss. Sincerely, Grant ********* ________________________________________________ Roger replied on the same day 1/20/21 by stating: Grant ********* , I appreciate you contacting me , After careful consideration of your response email and the options you presented I will choose option # 3 Option #3 I will keep this non redx pair A new redx pair will be built at a $299 rebuild price Whites are returned to me from Nicks free of charge I will call in tomorrow with a credit card number and pay for the redx pair Thank you Roger ***** ____________________________________________________________ As of 1/20/21, Roger has refused to speak with me on the phone to resolve the issue.

      I did in fact call nicks boots and spoke with ***** I was told the boots MUST be returned IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND And the boots will be thrown in the dumpster , ***** emailed that as well , I have in fact returned the boots via *** store but have not received a Refund from nicks boots , nicks boots response that they give all kinds options to resolve an issue with a customer is false nicks just likes the public to see them virtue signaling, but what really happens is nicks is calculating and deceitful and does not fulfill anything they say they will do , how does a customer pay ****** for a pair of redx? Sole fire boots , fireboots have a ?sole , a large tag in the boot stating the fire boot rating and fire resistant thread , but thats all missed when built , instead nicks sends boots that are worth maybe $500.00 not fire rated at all , no laces , and no boot oil these are items that nicks says come with the boots , when emails were sent about these issues nicks wanted me to keep the boots even though they are clearly not what I ordered I am still waiting for a refund from nicks and I have returned their boots to them

      I did in fact call and spoke with them , his team member demanded the boots returned before any refund would be issued, I have returned their boots to them via the *** store , since then nicks boots owner on nicks handmade boots ****** reviews has virtue signaled to the world that I could keep those boots which is inane because they demanded them back when I was fighting tooth and nail for a refund
