This bank is terrible! Do not bank with them unless you want to be robbed. The staff there are incompetent and cannot do there job correctly. A check addressed to my mother was deposited into a man's account that banks with Numerica. That check should have been flagged and not deposited ! I called requesting someone to take responsibility for this mistake that did not happen only once, it happened around 4 times totaling over 15 grand. And they refused to take responsibility and could not answer any of my questions! They take zero accountability for their incompetent actions that costed my mother to loose thousands of dollars. RUN AWAY FROM THIS FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. I first opened my account in 2015 when I bought my Fj. I am a disabled veteran and I have my compensation direct deposited every payday since 2015. My veterans comp has been deposited between ****hr and ****hr for the last 7 years, at which time I HAVE AN ESTABLISHED SCHEDULE TO SQUARE AWAY MY HOUSE BILLS AGAIN MY HOUSE MY TIME TABLE,,,numerica has changed this and my direct deposit is pending until ****hr. Moreover Numerica charged and over **** my account by mistake 2 months in a row and allowed my debit card to be fraudulently charged another 2 times therefore numerica messed with my account 4 times this year,,,, prior to this, since 2015, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. The recent changes Numerica has made IS HURTING THE CUSTOMER. THEY ARE ALSO ASSUMING THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DICTATE WHEN I PAY MY BILLS AND THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE IN MY HOUSEHOLD. These actions from a financial institution is scary THIS COULD HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO RUIN MY HARD WORK AND GOOD CREDIT SCORE WITH ALL OF THE OVERDRAWN MISTAKES MADE BY THIS CREDIT UNION...YES PEOPLE NUMERICA BOUNCED A DEBIT CARD CHARGE AND CHARGED ME A FEE WHEN I HAD THE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT. People should not live in financial fear because they dont trust Numerica like I lived in fear this last year. I check my account 2-3 times a day because I fear these mistakes made and the repercussions I must deal caused by Numerica. Yes everything was EVENTUALLY straightened out but numerica NOT ONLY MADE ME PROVE THE MISTAKES BUT THEY NEVER ONCE SAID WE ARE SORRY THIS WAS OUR FAULT AND THE ***** AND IT MADE ME FEEL THAT I WAS THE ONE IN THE WRONG AND I NEEDED TO PROVE MY INNOCENCE. If you want to experience this NUMERICA IS THE CREDIT UNION IS FOR YOU BUT IF YOUR PEACE OF MIND AND CREDIT SCORE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU YOU'RE BETTER OFF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. I MYSELF WILL BE TAKING THE NEXT 60 DAYS TO FIND AND CHANGE CREDIT UNIONS. IM DONE WITH THIS INSTITUTION. RUN AWAY RUN FASTReview from Joshua T

Wife and I have near perfect credit and have been told that our file is a loan officers dream, one even said that he looked forward to working on our file because it was like taking a break compared to most applicants. This bank on the other hand, has had almost no direct contact with us for a year after we got a new car. In fact, when they did contact me, i had to be reminded we had an account with them and that it was not a fraud call. I found out that my wife had missed one payment, purely by accident, and when I checked with her, as she is the family accountant, she had me tell them that the payment would be coming soon and give them a specific day. Our payment for 2 months, the missed one and she paid the next one early, were posted at noon on the day promised and cleared both banks the next morning. The next week my wife and I missed multiple calls from them and got a letter threatening to send us to collections and that I had broken my word and was a terrible person. The next day they sent a new letter saying since we cant be trusted to make payments on our own, that they were giving us a ton of tools to help us remember. Several more missed calls for the now almost 2 weeks already paid ****. We will be moving our loan to another bank or credit union as soon as possible because this is ridiculous and insulting. -And Numerica, don't contact me about this review, you've dug your own grave, just close shop and move on.Review from Corey

I applied for a loan I wanted to be preapproved before I started looking for a new ** and I was approved for a loan for an ** that I was thinking about buying when I called They told me they could not find the loan that I would have to reapply and so I reapplied for a loan and was approved for a loan but after finding the ** that I wanted to buy Numerica told me they would not approve the loan because the price on the ** was too high in value So I told the original seller of this information and he was upset because they didnt give the value of his ** that he had listed so I told the seller that I could not buy it unless he came down $9000 so I started looking for a another ** it took three days of my time and the Labor Day weekend to find a different ** the same one that I found originally I found from a second seller and it was $9000 less so I told the second seller that my chances were good for getting the loan through the bank so I contacted the bank the next day. I called the bank the next day at 9 AM and ended up leaving several messages with them to call me back I waited all day long for them to call me which they never called me back to talk to me finally at 4:30 PM in the afternoon I talk to a manager and she got the loan officer on the phone I explained the situation to this person and she told me they would not approve the loan Because the ** has to be less then 10 years old So I asked her why did they not tell me that from original time Of looking into getting a loan I and she said we made a mistake were sorry she did not apologize for all the time I had involved in it she said she would go through training for this officer but from her standpoint she would not except a loan again so at this point I will never use this bank again I have two car loans with them and Ive never been late with payments and been good standing with pay with the two new cars I bought from themNumerica Credit Union Response
