Hired this company for the summer mowing season to mow and fertilize our yard. We have had nothing but trouble every week with them doing the job as required or as we ask them to . They get our bill wrong almost every month, they either charge to much or they make an error and charge to little and want to make up make it up some month or so later, making old retired people like us hard to budget our money. They only hire Mexican people that **** speak English so it is impossible to communicate with the actual workers that come out to our house. I have to call the office almost every week to get things straighten out, that leaves us with the job not done right until the next week. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone. I need some help to get a refund for the annual contract they made me sign. This last Mexican team they sent today was belligerent and scary, This is not a good business for *******!Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I categorially disagree with ************** response. I've asked 3 different crews included the very first crew to cut my lawn shorter than they were normally cutting it, The first crew had an English speaking man who told me they would make a not of it on record so I shouldn't have to remind the crews every week. On 9/8 I did ask to have the lawn mowed shorter I asked both ******* men that were here to do the work. They both indicated they did not speak any English . This same scenario has happened over and over all summer. We get a new different crew here to mow every week, almost all have been ******* none of them speak any English only twice has there been an American citizen that speaks English as one of the crew, . As to being abusive, vulgar and rude to the crew is concerned I couldn't speak to either of them because they indicated with hand motions that they did not understand what I has tiring to ask them to do, and one of them called someone on their cell phone. One of the men stopped what he was doing and made a very disturbing moves towards me like he was going to tell me off in Spanish or something worse, but when I walked away he went back to mowing. He was very scary. Now my wife and I are afraid, we don't know if our house could be victimized by a drive by shooting or personal violence could happen to me or my wife from a ******* gang this young man might or might not belong to! This young man was very very scary! I have a friend who was beaten up by a young ******* man after they had a confrontation in a store parking lot.As for the rude call to the office I did loose my temper with the woman who answered, I apologize for that I was entirely out of line. To that woman I am sorry! However I have had to call their office almost every week to get the crew to come back and finish some part of the job like edging, or wait for another week with the lawn job not done right.
I am happy to be let out of the contract with these people, they are an extremely bad business for *******, I don't know how they have remained a business for 28 years with service like I have had, I can only believe most people just don't complain, they just go elsewhere the next year for their lawn service.
When I looked at the attached Installment Detail Summery, it was abundantly clear why my wife has had to call 3 times to get payments posted correctly or ******** to be correct. Almost none of the months show correct amounts billed or paid. I would be more than happy to provide cancelled checks or bank statements to show each months bill and payment. One month ,which they don't show, we never received a bill, and then we got a panic call from a new employee, asking us to send the payment immediately.
There is no wonder why lawn service companies have such bad reputations! These people from the owner down, are not honest, and poor examples of how business should be conducted.
