On Jan 31, 2024, I requested Raptor Plumbing to evaluate an alarm from our septic pump. They came and initially stated that the evaluation would me $100. The problem was not fixed and they charged me for a fee of $601 and asked me to sign electronically. An invoice was sent to me the next day and I realized that they applied my electronic signatures to an invoice with my agreement for future work and that the amount charged was a deposit for the future work. I called a septic company and they diagnosed and resolved the problem (alarm) on the phone without charge. I called Raptor on Feb 1 2024 to tell them that the quoted work was not necessary. I sent an email to Raptor to return the deposit to me.

WE have asked the BBB multiple times to change the contact email to *************************************************************************** We did not receive any information about this complaint because all notifications are being sent to an email address that no longer exists. We would have liked to respond to this customer and attempt to make things right but were not given this opportunity because email notifications were sent to ******************************************************************************* I am asking that the email address for notifications please, please, please be updated to ************************************************************************** and I would like to also ask this case be re-opened so we can respond.

      Sincerely,

I paid with my credit card for plumbing services on 11/13/23. I assumed that I would receive via E-mail some sort of itemized bill. When I did not, I called their number and spoke to *********, who said that she would forward the info to me. I got no response. I called again the next week and spoke to *********, who told me that they do not provide a bill for services. All that ********* was able to tell me was that the part was special ordered. I asked to be connected to her supervisor and left a message on *************************** voicemail asking for, "a breakdown of services, such as mileage billed, parts, and labor." I have not received any information explaining what my $544.64 paid for. I am asking for your assistance because their plumber spent less than an hour at my home, and the part costs $17.90 on line.

The email address you have on file for us is from an employee who is no longer with the company and the email address you have been sending information to is no longer active. We need to get the email address changed to **************************************************************************

      Dear ****************,

I am sincerely sorry for our lack of documentation for your job. The technician who completed the work at your home did not follow our protocol for documentation requirements in an invoice, and did not provide you with sufficient information. We have refunded your money for all work performed. You will find the refund invoice attached.

      Sincerely,

I am writing this on behalf of my mother ( because she is legally blind ) My sister called this business to come and check on a leak/puddlle we had in my moms basement. I had went over and seen a puddle , and cleaned it up, and attempted snaking the drain but it hadn't helped the issue so that is why we called this business. What came next was an absolute circus. The company said they would have someone out between 12 and 3, so my uncle stayed with my mom ( because she can't see ) to help then the guy got to her house, but since he didn't show up until 4:30 my uncle had left. When I went to check after work (roughly 5 o clock I arrived) I found the ENTIRE basement flooded with 1/2 inch of water. Then went to check the bathroom and realized the man left the toilet running, and not only that , but had broken the toilet in 2 seperate places, thr main line from the toilet was broken so I quickly cut the water to it. My mom was upstairs and hadn't realized her entire basement was flooded. She discussed with the man that she wanted septic risers , and would dig the septic out and thr man told her a flat out lie right to her face that ' only businesses are allowed to purchase septic risers ' Then quoted her $1800 and said he could be back in 2 days t fix the problem. A problem that he had just intentionally caused himself, by breaking the water line in the bathroom. A manageable puddle became a flooded basement, and broken toilet. These people need to have their business licenses checked, and make sure they are actually trained in plumbing. Only someone with absolutely no experience could make a problem so bad, unless he was intentionally sabotaging a blind old woman's plumbing for a bigger paycheck.

On April 15, 2022, I had a very negative experience with a technician from Raptor Rooter. Raptor Rooter was dispatched from my home warranty company (Fidelity Home Warranty) to come to my home to clear several clogged drains. When I asked the technician to place coverings over his work boots before entering our home, he responded that ‘it didn’t matter because he was going in and out and the home was going to get dirty anyway…’ When I asked this technician for his name he responded with profanity. When I asked for his supervisor’s name, he responded with profanity. I immediately called the company and asked to meet with the manager or owner. I am still waiting for this requested follow-up meeting after several calls.
