I contacted this company to have a shop build for our home. After signing all the paperwork. The job schedule was pushed back from early June to July, July to August, then August to September. The only way I could find out international is if I called in, there PM would never reach out to us to keep us informed. Even when lumber delivered arrived they were just randomly placed in the yard next to the street. They didn't do any job site clean up, which left me doing. However they did take $100 of my bill because that's what they pay the crew. I had to contact their ************* to get the floors poured and there door guy to get the door installed. Now that it's been six months later I want to get some power in the shop, only to find they never did the final inspection. Now it's going to cost me another $381 for the permit that I already payed for once.Business response

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We are deeply sorry for any unpleasant situation that you dealt with during the construction process.
Our job schedule is our best guess for when we can get your building started. There are unfortunately things that can prolong the wait. Changing the building size and/or location (which you did both shortly before we were ready to start) requires us to get a new plan revision with the City that delays it for weeks (some cases months). You called in May to change location, building size and overhead door size. At that time we had to start the plan revision process with the City and do the re-breakdown of the building on paper. Once the permit was reissued, we ordered all the materials and the suppliers timeline is always out of our control.
The lumber delivery driver should have left your lumber package in a nice neat stack and we apologize that he randomly placed it.
The company we refer concrete work to we have used for 16 years and he is the best around. We supplied him with your information. We apologize that he didn't contact you right away so you called us to get his contact information.
The overhead door installer was also supplied with your information. We apologize that he didn't contact you right away and you had to call us to get his information.
We apologize that we overlooked scheduling the final inspection. We have re-opened your permit (at no cost to you) and scheduled the final inspection, which should be happening today or tomorrow.
We hope that resolves all the issues you were experiencing and we hope you enjoy your building for many years to come.
