Unfortunately, I don't have any documentation aside from the charge to my bank account, but I called Glass Doctor of Spokane to have someone come to my elderly mother's house and have a look at the windows. I spoke with ********* and explained that the windows were not broken or in need of replacement, but rather the balances/hardware needed to be inspected for mechanical issues or possible tightening/lubrication - they are stiff and difficult to move up and down, even for a young adult. I also explained that my mother was mentally ill and would not be able to relay this to the technician, so I ********* jot down some special instructions, including my phone number so the technician would be sure to check for the right things - or at lease call me if he needed further instruction. She was yelling at her employee about leaving a truck unlocked while on the phone with me, which should have been clue #1 not to hire them, but I did anyway. The technician came and left without ever calling me. When I spoke to my mother, she gave me a list of what he had done - none of which I had asked for. He only measured a few of the upstairs windows, never even went into the bedrooms, and additionally, didn't pop out a single panel - all of which would have been necessary to check the hardware of the windows! When I talked to the technician on the phone, he outright lied to me stating that he examined every one, and "they were just dirty." Before receiving the estimate, I called ********* back to explain that I was unsatisfied with the actions of her technician and that I would like to be refunded on the grounds that he had not done what I'd asked. With children yelling in the background, she said they didn't give refunds and I continued to calmly explain why I thought one was merited in this case. She got an attitude with me and eventually hung up the phone without giving me the results of the estimate - which I don't want due to the poor service. Glass Doctors owes me $75.Business response

************** did go out to the residents which was explained that there was a $75.00 service fee for my techs to go out. I gave my technicians the instructions she gave me. We are a business we did what was asked. The customer was being extremely rude on the phone and threatening. I advised do what you have to do ma'am have a good day. She refused to let anyone explain or even give her the estimate, The only time we give a refund is if the customer cancels the appointment. Her mother also told my tech others things that needed to be done, so my tech did what she asked as well.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
She is lying again. The technician did NOT do what I asked and my mother did NOT ask for anything additional. She did NOT tell me to have a good day, she hung up the phone on me. I do not want the results of the estimate because what little the tech did is NOT what I asked for when hiring them. They might know that if they paid more attention on the phone instead of yelling at each other and their kids. They should accept fault for not doing their job right.
