I was required by V.A. to get an appraisal in order to qualify for loan if the home passed inspection. I paid V.A. ****** and within a year found out the appraiser grossly falsified the appraisal in my opinion which allowed the loan to go threw. He stated the roof was new. Before a year was up my homeowner policy was canceled and I was in a situation where homeowner insurance companies would not cover me because the condition of the roof without replacement and was told roof was over 20 years old. In getting my roof done, costing almost 21 thousand, double estimated quote because come to find out and told there was 3 layers in some parts and that was illegal and that most of the roof had no sheeting under roofing. Because of these issues I am reasonable sure my house should not of pass therefore not allowing the loan to go threw without being taken care of.Customer response

To Whom It May ****************** behalf of ************************* I tried numerous times to speak to the appraisal company, Monument Appraisal, regarding the appraisal she got on the house at *************************************, in ******* **********. On on June 20, 2022 I made the first call, on June 21 he returned my call and left a message. I then tried to return his call the next 3 days and got no response.
