Coach ************************* contacted me on 4/16/2022 via phone regarding my son ***************************** joining his AAU basketball team at my sons request. I explicitly inquired the frequency of practice days in which practice days would be provided. I found this to be less than ideal considering the price point. He stated that he was currently only practicing his team once per week, but will be hoping to increase the number of days per week in the near future. Nonetheless, I agreed to enrolling my son for Spring and Summer registration paying in full at $1308.00 on 4/19/2022. Spring tournament schedule dictated as 4/23 - 5/30/2022 and Summer 6/10 - 7/17/2022. Coach ***** failed to increase weekly practice, additionally ceased practice days each week all together by the beginning- mid June. I contacted Coach on 6/18/2022 to discuss my dissatisfaction, the removal of my son from the team and refund for lack for lack of services rendered. Coach ***** completed a refund titled "first installment" of $350 on 7/6/2022. I contacted him 7/8/2022 inquiring about the lack of communication regarding installment payments initiated, which was never discussed vs. full amount refund which was expected. My son did not play in any Summer tournaments. I contacted Coach ***** regarding the matter in detail on 7/8/2022 then again on 7/25/2022. Both messages left with no response. I am requesting a refund for services not received, yet paid for. The lack of response to my query concern and request is not only unprofessional, but perceived as deceitful. At the very least, $304 is due for non participation in Summer league and practices.
