I am submitting a formal complaint against PrimeSource Credit Union due to a grievous mishandling of an insurance check that has caused significant distress and financial concern. The credit union allowed an unauthorized check, valued at $11,000, to be cashed without my consent or validation of the signature. Despite my efforts to address this issue with PrimeSource, they have shown a complete disregard for resolving the matter in a fair and just manner. The credit union claims to have performed due diligence in verifying the check's signature, a claim that has been blatantly disproven. There are clear disparities between the signature on the check and my documented valid identification, which the credit union neglected to acknowledge.What's more concerning is that the check, overlooked by PrimeSource, was an insurance payout intended for unreported damages on a property I ***own. This significant oversight on their part reveals a lack of attention to crucial details, ultimately putting members' accounts and financial security at risk. Their negligent handling of this situation has resulted in unwarranted financial losses and potential implications for the security of my account. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this issue amicably, PrimeSource has failed to take appropriate responsibility or corrective action.I believe this warrants urgent investigation and intervention by the BBB to hold PrimeSource accountable for their negligent actions, ensure member protection, and prevent such oversights from recurring.Business response
