      I ordered a custom jacket from this place. Asked if they could do it the owner said yes. I had a custom jacket with a logo picked out, it was going to be a personal birthday present. The design was submitted and my payment was taken on Thursday September 23 2021 at 546 pm. In which I was given the receipt you see in the uploaded photos. I payed the extra money I didn't care because I never got a letterman in highschool. Now the stamp in the top corner of page 1, states that it will be done by Dec 02 ************************************* November so it was supposed to be mailed to me and that was it... Total cost summed up to be ****** dollars. As seen in the itemized receipt. (Uploaded photos). Life goes on, it wasn't until Dec 22nd that I got an email from the owner. Stating that they lost the design. So I contact them for a refund and am immediately met with aggressive opposition. They called the cops on me. Saying I was aggressive. They have lied about the order they are just not wanting to pay back what they took. That's 600 dollars almost and I'm homeless... I just today going through my files found the itemized receipt that they denied even giving me. Came to make amends one more time. They're still not having it. I would like my ****** dollars back that I paid for nothing but disgust in a "local company"...

      This is my second response in this matter. ******************** Mother sent a complaint about the same jacket a few months ago. Here's what actually happened-  On September 21, 2021 ***** did indeed place an order for a custom jacket. At the beginning of November 2021, we tried to contact **************** 3 times on 3 different days, by phone, trying to let him know that the information that he sent us about his design he wanted us to make for his jacket had been deleted from our emails and we needed him to send it again. We also tried emailing 2 different times the following week. With no response to all 5 attempts to contact ****************, we put his jacket on hold until he contacted us. The next time he came in was March 19th 2022. He did not want his custom jacket anymore and asked for a refund. We gave **************** his jacket that he ordered, but he still wanted a refund because he said his girlfriend kicked him out and just needed the money. We had already purchased this custom jacket for him and that is what his $200.00 deposit paid for. Our policy is any item left more than 60 days without payment or prior arrangement for payment becomes  our property and any deposit made will not be refunded. Yes, the total amount due for his jacket was almost $600.00 but he only paid the $200.00 deposit which again paid for the jacket we had made, that he received in store on March 19th 2022. **************** is now coming to you saying that he wants a refund of $600.00 that he never paid.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      We had an agreement a binding contract of payment for product I paid my part and they didn't produce the product now their excuse for not paying me the first time I approached them about it is that I didn't have a receipt I went and found the receipt approached them again very simply even though I was being ripped off pretty much robbed and they still stood tall I'm there justification for robbing someone and now they claim to be truthful and honest but I found the itemized receipt which clearly states that what they had said in their statement is false which is a lie now they wear the title of honesty integrity by wearing the trip will be logo and certification but they don't stand up to it they don't do the required actions to wear that logo insert quite honestly that's something that I don't think fits in with our community there goes against our community actually and what we stand for and to know that that business is operating here but doesn't want to pay but everyone else got to is wrong now I approached them twice on this manner ****** and they have justified it in their minds that they can just rob me I have the itemized to see saying that I paid and it has their stamp saying that I paid but they don't want to refund me and they don't want to produce a jacket so I think it goes without saying I'm either old a refund for my money I paid or a jacket for the money I paid they can't just come up with a policy saying that if it takes them too long to make a jacket then they keep your money and the jacket I don't have anything from them at all the jacket was paid for on in September supposed to be there by my birthday in November for my birthday I don't have anything from them at all besides one email that's a single sentence saying ***** we lost the logo for your jacket and that wasn't until December no I forgotten about the jacket even in a hole but I was going through hard times and going over my finances and realize that I had $600 missing for a jacket to a company that robs people cool as a matter of fact it's I even resent them the logo but if they lost the logo that's not my responsibility to pay for it with my jacket and my money so I will let you guys decide I've already submitted the itemized receipt that proves any sort of where they have is negated of factual truth and I can also submit the email from them that I received along with phone logs stating I don't have any contact from them and not only that on top of all this when I went in the first time to approach them on this matter I simply gave him an ultimatum a** I asked for a refund they said they won't and then I said well I get my jacket then no okay I went ahead and left after trying to baffle my mind and understanding this sort of mindset and they called the police and made a police report against me saying that I was aggressive and threatening

      In the attached PDF. There is a stamp that says when it was completed.  (Dec 2) is saying that the jacket was completed on my part anyways the 2nd. Then I got the email saying. That they lost my design and to get ahold of themm

        The date stamped on the order sheet is an estimated due date that we give customers at time of order ( usually **** weeks) so they will know when to expect there completed jacket. You will also notice  at the top of the same sheet the date that **************** ordered his jacket. September 21, 2021. As stated several times before, We could not get in touch with ****************. We tried 5 times on 5 different occasions by phone and by email to reach him about his design that indeed was lost in an email. **************** did not come back to the store until March 19 2022 telling us his girlfriend kicked him out and just wanted the deposit back. We explained to him that we do not refund any deposits on custom jackets. We gave him his jacket that he ordered and he left. Again, as stated several times before, We do not refund any deposit on custom jackets left over 60 days. I believe **************** intentionally left his order here because he ran into money problems. Only after he realized that he might be able to get his deposit back, did he come back to the store. As a final reminder, **************** was given the custom jacket he ordered when he came back on March 19 2022. We tried to contact him many times to get the design that he wanted so we could finish his jacket. This is the second time our business has been "turned in" for this matter.

      I have been patient. Now they took the money in return for a jacket. Although, can't produce the jacket. Well, shouldn't have taken the money. Business is simple pay money in return get service or product. They took money but couldn't produce a product. Give money back then. Simple. This is embarrassing that a company can be so unprofessional and immature about a simple thing called a refund. The logo was chosen in store and they emailed it to me from their computer. I paid didn't get a jacket. I get my money back.

      Any items left more than 60 days without payment or prior arrangement for payment, becomes the property of The Letter Jackets And More Store and any deposit made will not be refunded. ($200.00)

        You received the custom jacket you ordered. Remember? the custom jacket you ordered and refused because you didn't want it anymore? Your friend that you brought with you to seemingly intimidate us, took it in his possession because you refused it. It's simple you're right. You placed an order, we ordered what you wanted, we paid for it, you decided that you didn't want it anymore and therefore we should have to pay for your mistake? No. Also, If you notice on the order sheet, the custom jacket that you ordered was $249.00 - You only made a deposit of $200.00 so really you still owe us $49.00 plus tax

      We will not refund the deposit.
