      I do not have the expertise to evaluate their work. I DO have concerns due to the unprofessional way the job was conducted. If what I know is a problem, it casts doubt about what I don't know and have to trust. A potentially half-day job turned into a 3-day job. In the 3-days, I spent **** hours just waiting unnecessarily for workers to arrive or for information that workers were NOT arriving. There were 5 start times agreed on, none were kept. I do not allow any contractors on my property unless I am physically present. Twice workers came on property & started work without permission contrary to agreement. An onsite renter requires a 2-day notice for non-emergency access to residence. This legal requirement was disregarded when workers set their own work schedule. I was sent an invoice that had a fake signature perporting to be mine that states i agree the work was done satisfactorily and in a workmanlike manner, and that my concerns had been addressed. None of that was true & I did not sign. Concerns were sent to office by certified mail. General manager refused to discuss concerns. GM offered 10% discount or legal action to settle. I accepted 10% discount & wanted an invoice without fake signature. GM agreed. I would hesitate to use Sturm again.

      I contacted this company with a clearly stated request that was met with continuing arguments via SMS that what I requested would only be possible after I paid $129 for a service call, and they agreed with the diagnosis. After clearly explaining that I already had a diagnosis and parts for this 50yr old unit were not available, the company decided a phone call and live argument would be a better approach. Again, I clearly stated my request and said that if the only way to do business with them starts with a $129 service call that I dont need, I could find another provider. Instead of moving forward with my request, their representative decided that arguing the issues further was a good approach. In response, I thanked him of the call and stated I was no longer interested in anything the company had to say or offer and to not contact me further. I immediately received another call from the company which I declined and then blocked the phone number. Next came a voice mail and another effort to argue the point. In reply I sent another SMS to the company to not contact me again. Today I received yet another call from the company despite my instructions to not contact me further. The arrogance of this big company trying to bully and strong arm me into submission is not appreciated nor will it be tolerated. This company is not the only provider in this market, and it appears its employees have lost focus on what customer service means.
