I was denied access to my unit after being told I was evicted. Didn't receive anything in the mail as they are required to do. I've given them a change of address several times and they claim they never received it. I have given access to someone else to clean out this unit as they pay the rent and most belongings are hers in the unit. I was given a deadline of when to clean out the unit and upon doing so my payment and access were denied. Police were asked to be there but when they arrived I had little to no time to clean out the unit and they have now taken possession stating it was abandoned. I have tried to clean out this unit several times and was denied access. I just want my property and to remove it from this facility. Copies of last emails, a previous lien notice, copy of authorization signed, and last copy of updating address again.Business response

To whom it may concern,
We take the protection of our customer's possessions seriously at **********************. We have made repeated attempts to reach our customer, ***********************, to no avail.
We never received this Access Authorization form; in fact, this BBB Complaint filing is the first we've seen it. We have no way to confirm it was ***** who completed this form; phone calls and voicemails to the phone number have gone unanswered. In fact, the printed name on the notice is misspelled. We think the BBB will agree that is odd.
***** did not arrive to the store to remove his items, as the complaint claims. A woman named ******* did, however, and was denied access because we did not have any documentation giving her access.
If ***** would like to come to the office, we are happy to help him get his belongings. If we don't hear from him before the dates outlined on the notices sent to his last known address, we will be forced to follow the lien sale process, as per the ************************** ******.
