      I ordered a sawmill on April 7 2023 and paid a 50% deposit of $3,608.50 by check since they would not accept a credit card payment for the deposit with the promise to deliver by May 31 2023 which is noted on the invoice. Since my order they have not responded to many attempts to resolve the issue after the promised delivery date had passed. Voice messages left for the business are not returned and I have received one email response that promised to contact me but offered no details on delivery. That was on June 22 2023. No response from them on several attempts to resolve the issue and it is now July 14 2023. I have requested a refund since I have lost all faith in this companys ability to complete the transaction and their failure to even respond to many status inquiries. Warning to anyone considering doing business with this company. Dont

      On April 11, 2023, I sent a check to Sequoia Mills, address **********************************************************************************, for $4,629.00 as a 50% deposit on a portable bandsaw sawmill SM-130 and log loader, including delivery to my location in **********, order number ******. Sequoia Mills cashed my check on April 14, 2023. On April 21, 2023, I spoke with ******************* at Sequoia Mills and we agreed to cancel the order. ************** promised to promptly refund my full deposit. I emailed the business on May 8 and May 9 for the status of the refund. ******************* responded that the refund had been submitted to their accountant and was in progress. I sent another email to Sequoia Mills on May 19 requesting the refund. I have not received the refund and Sequoia Mills no longer returns my phone calls or email messages. I demand a prompt full refund.

      After a $5700 50% down payment and 14 months later (6-8 months estimated completion time) this business will not answer their phone, return voicemails, or return emails. The one response I received in oct/2022 was that they dont have any idea when my product will be completed. I have emailed multiple times since and left voicemails and received zero communication since the email in oct/2022.

      On July 11th I called left a message inquiring about the status of our mill. No return call.July 12th called, repeated message. No return call.July 12th called again in evening, voicemail box full.July 13th called, voicemail box full.Emailed at 8:55am. Received an emailed response citing phone failures. Still no update. I replied to email asking for an update. No response July 20th sent another email requesting an update or status on our order, no response.July 21: My husband called at 11:08 am left message inquiring about a sawmill as if he was interested in buying one, and FINALLY received a call back from **** within 20 mins. Then he went on to ask about our order, which she replied "at least" 9 months to be done but more than likely at least ***** months vs the 6-8 months as stated on the invoice. When asked about a refund, she said we wouldn't get it all back because they bought materials October 14, 2022 Attempted to contact Sequoia Mills via phone but no answer and voice mailbox full Emailed and received another email citing further delays. It has been over ******************************************************************************* light of obvious breach of contract per the invoice, we are requesting assistance in getting a full refund for this mill. We are now afraid to get the mill for fear they wont honor any warranties or make good on repairs should we need them.
