      Initially contacted Appliance Repair in early Sept of 2023 to fix the ice maker in our Whirlpool french door refrigerator. Tech came on 9/8/23, diagnosed a faulty motor, which was ordered and paid a $260 deposit. Came back in a few weeks to install and I paid another $268. The icemaker never worked. They came back several times and I eventually asked for a different tech who then diagnosed it was the control board and thus, I probably never needed the motor they installed and I paid for. They were accommodating by essentially swapping the control board cost for the motor that I had paid for and I only had to pay an additional $55 at that time. However, the ice maker still did not work. They came back yet again with manuals and talking with Whirlpool. He identified that the board wasn't getting proper/consistent current. I was told they would contact the manufacturer again then get back to me with next steps and an estimate. I never heard from them again after 10/31/23 despite multiple emails requesting follow up. I'm now into this for $583 but the issue was never resolved, still don't have a functional icemaker and now they are completely unresponsive. I gave one last attempt this morning 12/12 (attached here) and expressed I would be filing a BBB complaint. They did not respond today and as you can see in the attached PDFs this was the third attempt with no response since 10/31/23. They were extremely responsive originally, but since they've been unable to actually fix my issue they no longer are. Ideally I would like my issue fixed, but at this point I no longer trust them nor do I really want them in my house. If they are able to actually resolve it I will allow it, but if they don't I expect a refund.
