I dropped off my iPhone 13 for screen repair at 11:48am on 04/17/2024. I was told I could pick it up in a hour. The form I was given has a "promised date" of 12:48 pm 04/17/2024. When I returned an hour later, I was told that they had broken a part on my phone and they were waiting for a replacement part, and that, "it's on us." Now I need to wait at least another day for them to complete the repair. This is truly an inconvenience, as I work twelve hour shifts the next two days and I don't know when I'll be able to retrieve my phone. What is more, I use my phone on the job every day. What is reasonable compensation to request in this situation? Tax included, they will charge me $303.31 when the repair is done.Business response

We regret the inconvenience our customer experienced due to the delay in the screen repair service originally scheduled for 04/17/2024.
Upon receiving the iPhone for repair, our team encountered an unforeseen issue where a part was inadvertently damaged. Recognizing the inconvenience caused to ************, especially considering their demanding work schedule, we took immediate corrective action:
Discount on Repair: We offered a $100 discount off the total cost of the repair.
Complimentary Addition: We included a free screen protector valued at $39.99.
Expedited Service: We overnighted the necessary component to ensure the quickest possible completion of the repair.
These actions were taken to not only rectify the mistake but also to express our commitment to customer satisfaction. The total value of the concessions made amounted to $139.99, reflecting our dedication to providing value and service beyond the standard expectations.
