Poor quality of service. Requesting a refund of service due to a lack of contract completion and an improper application process causing failure of the applied product.The boat was returned to the customer (me) on OCT 21 for winter storage.The boat was installed in the water on June 22.The Boat was pulled out for winter storage Sep 25/22 I noticed the bottom paint was flaking off and a section wasn't painted. Poor quality control, and the boat antifoul paint wasn't sanded per the application process, causing it to flake off.Contacted ****** at Modutech marine Late Sept/22 about this issue, and he verbally agreed to fix the problem. I asked if he could wait to fix the flaking and missed areas until May 2023, and he agreed verbally. (Please see photos)Contacted ****** Apr 27/23 via email to honor our discussion - no reply Contacted ****** May 2/23 via email to honor our discussion - no reply I called ****** on May 3/23 and left a voicemail addressing this issue on his company business phone line. - No reply I contacted Interlux customer service on May 4 and shared my photos, and they were able to conclude that the application process was done incorrectly, causing the paint to flake off. Modutech Marine didn't sand the bottom with #** grit sandpaper, so the paint had nothing to adhere to.I am seeking a full refund of $736.89 and don't seek their services for repair due to the poor quality of service.I mailed a **** Certified Mail letter to ****** on May 4/23 requesting a refund. - No Reply You can review the photos and see how the paint is flaking off and the big patch they neglected to paint. They really didn't care about my boat.
