My first interaction was on for 11:22 I took my vehicle in for a Groupon for a complete maintenance package. It was basically for an oil change. I paid the remaining shop costs and disposal fees. On the following Monday 4:15 I went to go to appointments for ********** where I live to ******* and the car started to break down. At Bucky's when I did the maintenance package they recommended that in my CV joints and my back brakes be done he said this if you joins for more important than the back brakes. Up to this point prior to the maintenance package my car brand perfectly fine and I had absolutely no problems with it at all. I was basically going to get an oil change. I asked him about the cost of these two things and he told me a very high price totaling almost *****. I told him I would have to think about this. So on 4:15 while going to an appointment my car seems to almost break down it is smoking it is doing all kinds of bizarre things I am very afraid and I have to leave my car where it is and *******. Have friends assist me with two and from appointments and to get my car home as well. Now I have paid for an ordered parts from ******** totally an amount of almost 125 dollars. My friend who was in ASE certified mechanic installs my back brakes that were recommended to be done. And on 4/22 I am heading again to ******* on a Monday to my appointments and the car starts doing the exact same thing. I have the CV joint parts, I go to Bucky's and ask ***************************, to please check it out. Master Cylinder $550.!! I tell him to put in my CV joints that r my own parts I paid for which will be $400+. He tells me the car will be ready tonight. I go to pick it up, I am now stranded at 6pm, they don't know what is wrong with my car! They took it for a test drive and it is locking up! I never had a problem until they touched my car! After my initial complaint, the next morning I was informed the Manager was let go due to his conduct and behavior at the workplace. The Cash difference I paid for the shop costs and supplies during my initial Groupon that I noticed were not on my bill, just the credit card difference I paid, was credited towards my bill. The Manager was doing all sorts of misleading conduct. I went to pick up my vehicle and was told it was completed, with the c joints mean the original emergent problem, and they were still brand new in the boxes I had purchased in the back seat. I confirmed with the new manager that they were installed and she said looking at the paperwork that they were not and this also caused me great frustration. She resolved this by offering that I can bring it in whenever my convenience was and they would put these in at no cost to me. I hope in the future though this business does not go on trying to scam women when other women are not there it seems to me that if I did not advocate for myself, have a mechanic boyfriend, and no about my previous experience with my friend who bought her car there 2 years ago that I might have gotten taken completed. But I really want to thank the new manager for going the extra mile and resolving this problem with me in particular.

Yesterday while driving my vehicle to ******* to an appointment my car began was not accelerating to 60 miles an hour when I needed it to. I then called in the manager and she coming to bring it in however the lead mechanic was at lunch and it was noon and he wouldn't be back in until 1:30. Frustrated I pulled over and waited until then even though I had many errands and an appointment to get to. I then brought my vehicle in again at 1:30. The lead mechanic said he drove my vehicle on the freeway from ******* to 116th on the freeway going over 60 miles an hour and had no problems with it. And the same on the way back. They do not know what is wrong with the vehicle at this point. Obviously there was no charge for this as there shouldn't be.. with all of this missing appointments, financial stress, emotional stress, and stressing me making me physically sick this has been the most unforgettable experience. I do not know if I can trust my car to ever be touched by another mechanic again. I definitely will not be coming back when my car was completely fine, until Bucky's got there hands on it. The Manager did the Best she could, her **************** is very Honest and Appreciated. I paid $1859.20 for repairs on my vehicle. I initially took my 2001 chrysler sebring lx in for a diagnostic. The oil service light was blinking on my vehicle. The receipt states 7 services performed. 1 service (power steering belt) was unauthorized and another was unfulfilled (timing chain tent cover plate). I was told that the timing chain tent cover plate #*******AA would be repaired at no additional charge (apparently it's obsolete and the part can't be found). So, knowing they were not going to be able to repair the actual problem they performed unnecessary repairs. Now, they are saying I need additional repair services and it will cost more money. They have not ordered part #*******AA and repaired it although it's listen under services performed. My car initially only had a blinking light as a symptom and I didn't notice it losing oil. Now, there is a 2ft puddle of oil in my parking space at my residence. I also checked the box to have my parts that were removed returned to me and they were not.Business response

I called the corporate office for Bucky's since I filed the complaint with BBB. A man named ****** called me and said I can communicate with them through the BBB now. The letter from BBB was addressed by someone named ******. I have not been contacted by Bucky's to resolve this issue by ****** and was referred to BBB (which I initiated) by ******. It doesn't appear that they are willing to resolve this. I don't know what to do.Business response

The customer was not charged for the timing cover because it is not available. It might be available through a wrecking yard. Regardless I will offer to reimburse the customer $300 as a gesture of good faith. If this is acceptable I just need a good mailing address. Since they have worked on my vehicle and it's in worse condition then when I brought it in I would prefer to have any work on it done elsewhere. I think they should reimburse more than $300, my bill was exceeding $1800. My address is ************************************. I was given an estimate of $1350 for my car. The mabager called me and said it was going to be less because thry figured out it was not the fuel injectors and so subtract the $350. I showed up to pick up my car and the bill was over $2300!Business response

This still hasn't been resolved. The last thing the manager told me was that they would get the phone logs and video logs of the visits so that they could get it resolved. I would also like copies of that as well. I still have not heard back from them. I keep getting pushed off and then they don't follow up with me. They still billed me for more than $1,000 than what they said the estimate was.
This has been going on since May, why is this still being looked into? I keep calling and they keep blowing me off.

I brought a **** ****** Tacoma to the Buckys location in Fife on October 13, 2023, for replacement of the driver side front wheel bearing. I had told the service advisor on the telephone that the front driver side was the one that needed replacing. I requested this service after receiving a diagnosis from ***************** on August 24, 2023, where the front driver side bearing was the one causing the problem and have enclosed a copy of their report.On Saturday, October 14, I was told that the repair was completed, and went to pick up the truck. The service advisor ******* told me that they replaced the passenger side wheel bearing because they believed it was making the noise. After driving away, I noticed that the noise was the same as it was before I dropped off the truck and the repair I requested was not completed.When asked for an explanation, and the service advisor said they decided to fix the passenger one instead believing that it was worse, even though I did not ask them to fix that part. We asked what could be done about it, and the service advisor only blamed me for not having them do a diagnosis. However, I had already had a diagnosis at a ****** dealer, which was to only replace the front driver side wheel bearing. I only provided one wheel bearing and hub knowing what repair was needed. No one called me to double-check on which wheel bearing to replace, and the staff unilaterally decided to repair the wrong one. An appropriate response might have been to repair the driver side as requested, and then suggest repairing the passenger side. The Fife locations service advisor is unwilling to address the issue, and I am appealing to you as the next step. I would like the original repair completed as promised.Business response

i am writing to request a refund for the welding repair that was performed on my vehicle at your exhaust shop. On August 13, 2022, i brought my ***** 240DL to your shop to have the exhaust system repaired. I was advised that the best option was to have the part removed and replace by welding the pipe section shown in the picture.However, after the repair was completed, i noticed that the exhaust system was stiil emitting leaks (i have pictures as weli) and excessive noise, i returned to the shop around the 22nd of August and again your mechanics acknowledge the leaks, put the car on the rack and welded again and said they had taken care of it. i do not drive the car daily but as I continued to drive I notice rattling, leaking and noise coming form the exhaust. Recently I then took the vehicle to another shop where I was advised that the welding performed at your shop was not done correctly and that the solution was to remove the poorly welded splice and replaced correctly. On March 15 2023, I brung a 2011 Dodge Caliber Express to be inspected for purchase. Invoice# ********** with green light for purchase. I purchase the Dodge March 21 2023. The evening of April 22 2023, the vehicle became inoperable at that point. I towed the vehicle to your ******** location that performed the inspection April 23 2023. April 24 2023, repairs required exceeded half of vehicle purchasing price, Work Order #********** made 5 days later then which assuming technician finally had availability to inspect vehicle. Invoice# ********** stated such work had been completed with guaranteed job done right the first time. Within weeks I was without a vehicle again. May 26 2023 I contacted the shop Manager about my vehicle inoperable again which then was towed to shop Invoice# ********** states reasons which implies lack of service completion prior. After Manager guaranteed the work would be done by him personally the vehicle displayed original symptoms June 05 2023 when the clutch no longer worked and no return call from manager after reaching out for hours. My chiropractor suggested Buds Auto Repair shop due to repeated incidences of incomplete work and physical safety. Which their findings were appalling to say at the least to be told about transmissions condition, missing/stripped bolts, job incompletions and the severity of lack of works. For reworks and completion of what was $3875.39 at Buds Auto Shop Invoice# *****. Paying out $3000 to Buckys to complete a job that wouldn't have needed if Pre-Buyers Inspection was thoroughly done. Then to be mistreated by Management and refusal of a refund after the 2nd time the vehicle became inoperable. June 20 2023 still without vehicle or a call back for Management since June 05 2023. I brought **** Auto Shops findings to the Manager whom then refused to give a refund for incomplete works again, refused me a copy of all invoices for my vehicle and insisted I was lying about the paperwork I brought in, in hopes that the Manager would rectify this $7000+ headache. I informed management I do not agree with the discrimination and unfair business acts. When Buckys manager said " that's too bad, you already took your car to another shop!" I then stated "I'll take you to court" he then proceeded to say "good luck miss, there's nothing else i can do for you. See you in court!" We (my family and clients) are baffled by such treatments!Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that the start of this resolution is satisfactory to me upon complete refund of neglected works by this facility as well as costs of repairs and replacements due to lack of proper work procedures, trained Technicians and management neglecting to oversee complaints personally 3+ times before resulting to different facility sought for repair and the extensive damage done and caused. Also have pictures and videos if needed.

Yes I did email them right after I got the message which was almost a week after it said it had been posted but I had not received it in my email I have been checking several times a week so Buckys I sent them an email with my personal information and how to contact me and what my desired outcome was to being reimbursed and I didnt hear from him so about three or four maybe even a week and come by I emailed them again stating you know my information who I was with the situation was and please contact me as soon as possible he finally called me after at least a week went by I was on vacation and he said he needed information about these receipts and they said that they had been filed with **** complaint with the Better Business Bureau and at that point he was done speaking to me no longer wanted to speak to me about anything youve already filed a complaint he said I will be contacting them and that was the end result I have not heard anything I have not seen any at hopes of being refunded or any kind of anything that they had been all the damages that they had made my vehicle because the work was done in appropriately in the first place so on and so forthBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: I brought it to them before purchasing the vehicle from a private owner and they gave me the green light to buy at Buckys approved the car and said nothing was wrong with that and it should be good to ********** after purchasing it and getting that greenlight from Buckys I was without a clutch amongst many other things they have the receipts and charged me over $3500 to fix it which was never fixed I brought it back to them three times they repaired it or they said they did and every time more damage was done to my transmission not just the clutch by the fourth time a bit breaking down within just a very short time of having the vehicle I had to bring it to another repair shop because they were incompetent and not doing their job and a full refund as well as the damages that were done to the vehicle because they did not have been seated correctly by the fourth time a bit breaking down within just a very short time of having the vehicle I had to bring it to another repair shop because they were incompetent and not doing their job and I would like a full refund as well as the damages that were done to the vehicle because they did not have things seated correctly they can read the receipts as well as the transmission all of the boats being stripped and half of them beating missing as well as the seal for the transmission they shoved in there and wasnt even the right seal.
By the time I dropped it off to the other Repair shop they told me that my transmission was just hanging on it couldve fell out and at any time I couldve been in a very serious accident

I am rejecting this response because: Its insulting talk about adding fuel to the fire I guess you didnt even offer me the cost of what it cost in your shop for a job that was never done and did more damage to my vehicle clearly youre not a man of integrity in your business and that you do not really stand by your motto which is on every receipt stating what the job would be done the first time were you would think by the third time you couldve got it right no I reject this $500 this is absolutely ridiculous Ive had to pay over ****+ dollars I think you meant 10 now for the vehicle and its repairs and it still needs a transmission after all of that because of your mechanics not putting in bolts correctly if theyre even mechanics it all another mechanic shop shouldnt have to retype your threading on a transmission its pretty important part of vehicle but you dont you think so not only have you placed my life and everybodys life in danger that I have driven in my vehicle cant even drive my vehicle anymore and then were talking months and you want to offer me $500 thats unacceptable sir ******* came to Buckys knowing that you guys actually stood by that motto 20 years ago and yes 20 years ago you did but today is no integrity you shouldnt have a model and it saddens me because I had trusted you and your company to do Quality work not only did I not get quality work I got shut down every single time I ever tried to talk to your manager and was treated as if I didnt know what the heck I was talking about Im not stupid Ive been driving for many years and I asked them to do things repeatedly that they did not do at the very end they finally changed my oil do you know how to change the oil of a vehicle three times amongst all the other things that they didnt do and the customer service was insulting this is not how you should run business or this is taking and stealing peoples money and lying and saying that youre providing some kind of service more like The things that were broken on my vehicle so I would have to come back and get them fixed promise future business or something I dont know but its unacceptable good day

During the beginning of May ***** I had my **** ******* navigator towed to buckys in ******* for a free suspension diagnostic. I was quoted **** to replace 2 airbags and a compressor or **** to convert to standard suspension. **** is so high for the airbags I assume they don't want to do the work so I opted for the conversion. When the work was done the bill was for **** and ***** told me thats what he quoted from the beginning. **** is a laughable price and I would have said so. I let him know I would pick up the ******* when he fixed the bill and in the meantime I will be filing complaints and persuing legal options. I should have read the reviews first. Places like this should not be allowed to do business.Business response

I was sold a "new" battery but the company refused to give me any warranty information. They just wrote a written promise to replace it within one year. They charged me $500 for a battery and all those have 3 year warrantees.I had by car towed today because it would not start and signed off on the work over the phone. I went to O'Reilys right after and they showed me the most expensive battery they offer costs $250 ($450 battery can be special ordered but it is not in stock.) All batteries over $200 have 3 year warrantee. I am taking the new battery over to a different mechanic to be installed. I have attached the receipt for the most expensive battery that ******** Auto Parts could offer me.Business response

Hello,I called Buckys **************************************************** on February 1, 2023 and spoke to ***** regarding my car. He told me to bring my car in now. I had my car towed to the shop after being told it was the starter. Once I arrived, I spoke to ***** and let him know that it is more than likely the starter to check that first. ***** said he needed to get a diagnostic and it will let us know the real issue. He explained it would costs ****** for this. I agreed for Bucky's to perform the diagnostic and call me with details. I spoke to ***** again on February 2, 2023 and he reported that he did a diagnostic and it showed that I need a new engine approximate cost ********. I was shocked. ***** told me to take the weekend to figure it out and he would safely store my car until I made a decision to take my car or pay for repairs. On Monday February 6, 2023, I arrived to pick up my car unexpectedly and saw someone under the hood working on my car. I immediately went into the office to see why anyone was working on my car when I did not authorize repairs. The mechanic in the front was very distracted and nervous for no apparent reason. Him nor the mechanic that was working on my car had an explanation to why he was under the hood. I then asked if my diagnostic was ready, and will it show that my engine was gone? Would it show $8,364 of repairs needed on the engine? He responded yes, it should and it will cost $******. I told him I know. ***** told me, I had the payment. He asked me to hold on while he called *****. On the call, ***** told him not to charge me for the diagnostic. I was thankful but puzzled.After this exchange, I had my car towed back home because now it would not start and gave me an error message of all systems being down. The next day February 3, 2023, I contacted ***** and let him know that I realize there is some shady dealings going on, I wanted to know why my car was at a bay getting worked on with the hood up the day before? He had no answer he was mixing his words, making excuses and frankly full of s*** I told ***** to email me a copy of the diagnostic that states my engine needs replacing. Instead, he sent something that he wrote up, not a diagnostic report. My car is in bad shape. Parts have been taking and that is why it does not work. ***** lied to me in an attempt to get money from me for bogus car repairs. My car is in bad shape since I left it with your mechanics. I would like a response within 7-business days so that I can continue to work with my dealership on getting this resolved. *************************** **************
