On Oct 11th (Oct 16th credit card chg date) I ordered 9 Fir Shaker Doors & jams to be fit and stained. To be installed by my own contractor. 18 mos. ago I used the same company & representative to replace 9 doors on the main floor. It was quality work, so I was happy to order the same doors for the 2nd floor. Silly me I did not do the same due diligence as before. Chasing after my doors due in early Nov I learned from ******* that no orders have been coming in and contracting agencies who received checks have seen them bounce. I have tried to contact the owner ***********************, who does not answer phone or email. I have called city licensing agencies and found their UBI#********* but was aghast to learn this LLC might have dissolved in late May and that there is no bond on file. So taking my $ well after that is fraud. I am filling a police report but hope you can help me recoup my money and ensure others are not similarly bilked. Thank youCustomer response

We order several doors. The doors were never delivered. We called, told the owner was the only one who knew what status was and he wasn't there. We called repeatedly and were always told them same thing. We wrote a certified letter asking for our money back. Nothing. This company will rob you.Initial Complaint

In October 2021 we ordered custom doors for our home renovation from Fircrest Doors, paying $11,000 as a 50% deposit. In May 2022 we began our home renovation and in July 2022 placed a second order for additional doors, paying a 50% deposit of $5,580.34 on 7/19. Our contractor, Golden Construction, placed a third order in June 2022 for exterior doors, paying $5,000 in deposit. Total paid to date has been $21,580.34. In September 2022 Fircrest Doors delivered these orders and not a single door fit. All were taken back by Fircrest Doors to be corrected. Neither our own attempts nor our contractors attempts to get ***** at Fircrest Doors to deliver the corrected order are working. He refuses to return phone calls or provide any information on our order. We have even physically gone to the shop to ask and been given no information. We have no recourse at this point but to file a complaint and seek legal counsel.Initial Complaint

There has been numerous delays with our order. The business has never reached out to update us about our order; we have always initiated contact. We have decided to cancel the order and were treated unprofessionally by a business employee.On 1/3/22 I spoke with ***** said we would like to cancel our order due to delays and lack of communication. I had spoken with ***** in early December and it was understood they would complete the portion of our order they had in house and we would pick it up. That never occurred. On 1/3/22 ***** said that one part of our order was in and the remaining piece would arrive 1/17/22. During the conversation, as ***** was describing the industry and common delays, I asked him why he was yelling at me? He responded, "don't talk to me like I'm friggin stupid ****." He said he had called me after the early December call and left a voicemail that they would not finish the portion already in because of variations that occur by finishing products at different times. He also indicated that their salesman, ***** had emailed me the same information and that I had not responded. I told ***** I had no record of a missed call or a voicemail. And I told him I am looking at the last email **** had sent me and it was before our December phone call. I told ***** that either **** is lying to him or he(Chis) is lying to me. His response was that he cannot cancel the order. I asked who could. He said the owner *****. That he does not have ******* cell number. He said he would leave our order with a note to call on ******* desk. ***** never called. I called after hours roughly a week later and left a voicemail for ***** to call me. He has not called. So, it is obvious ***** lied about calling me and **** emailing me. It appears that he lied about not having the owner's phone number. I also believe they probably did not, or do not, have any portion of our order. As there has been no contact from any representative since 1/3/22.
