    I had booked an eyelash appointment for the first time with Dolld up beauty bar for my brothers upcoming wedding this weekend, 7/1/2023. The appointment was initially scheduled for Monday June 26, 2023 at 10:30am. However the evening before the appointment Morgan (the business owner) reached out and asked me if we could move the appointment time to 11am. I agreed. Then the next morning the day of the appointment, Morgan texts me at 9am and asks me if she can bring her child to the appointment since she did not have adequate childcare that morning. I worked the rest of the week before the wedding and agreed to accommodate her bringing her baby to work since Monday was my only day off. I then headed to the appointment and arrived at what I believed to be the venue at 10:51am. I had to pay for parking but one of the meters closest to my parking spot was down so I walked down the block to a functioning meter, paid for my parking pass, put it in my car and proceeded to follow my ****** maps to the shop location. After a few minutes of walking around, the time read 11:04 am when I decided to call Morgan. I stated that I was lost and did not know where to go after paying for parking. Morgan then stated that I must be at the wrong location since there are no parking meters around her. I then panic and she informs me I should have followed the address to her online booking third party site vagaro rather than ******* After entering in the correct address in my GPS I inform her I am 10 minutes away, to which she states she has a 10 minute late grace ****** before we have to reschedule the appointment. I inform her I accommodated her moving the appointment time back and bringing her child to work but she cannot accommodate me getting there at 11:20. To which she states no, she has another appointment at 12:30 and it is an inconvenience to her time and her next appt. I then ask what her schedule looks like for the rest of the week and she states she is free during times when I work. I then plead with her to let me show up to the shop and to do whatever she can in an hour since I am really in a time crunch and need my eyelashes done for this wedding. She says there is nothing she can do and that unfortunately she will be charging me a 75% no show fee since I did not show up to the appointment. Morgan then states if I want to rebook with her later in the week she will take 50% of the 75% no show fee she charged me and apply it to my next service since the eyelashes were $150 and if I rebook I will only pay her $93 in addition to the $112.50 she charged my credit card. Ultimately I am extremely upset by my first impression of this business and have reached out to my bank to dispute this as paying for a service I did not receive. But I am also upset because nowhere on the Dolld up website does it state there is a 10 minute late ****** NOR anything about a 75% no show fee. It states there is a 50% fee for cancellations and no shows but it appears Morgan makes up policies on the spot and forced customers to abide by them. I have also reached out to the merchant numerous times to which there has been no reply. I Atleast would appreciate the 50% of the fee back, as opposed to the 75% that was taken from me.
