  My father died in sept. 2021 and I contacted Rehmke law office to do a family trust. It took them months but finally my elderly mother signed the documents in January 2022. The attorney had been paid $3,000 to draw up a trust and place three parcels of property into it. When I got the tax bill recently I discovered they had only placed one parcel in the trust and the other two are still in my fathers name. I contacted them last month and met ***** at their office and signed new documents several weeks later. I left the original property deed with them, and the new documents 3 weeks ago. Since then they have not filed the documents and refuse to answer my calls or emails. I want them to finish the job.

  Rehmke Andreve, PS strives to provide exceptional service to all their clients.  A three week wait time for new and revised documents is normal for our firm, especially during times when staff and attorneys may be out for vacations or preparing for trials.  In this instance, the delay is related to the processing of deeds with King ******* when special forest land designations are in effect.  The **************************** stopped allowing in person delivery of documents at the start of the pandemic and has yet to resume that service, despite other counties having returned to normal service.  Rehmke Andreve, PS is continuing to work with this individual to finalize the recording and has covered all fees and costs in this matter with no charge to the client.  One deed which was not originally part of the work done in 2021-2022 has already been completed and filed.  The forest land deed which required a correction is still pending due to King ****** requirements.  Rehmke Andreve, PS is completing the work at no charge to the client.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  The respondent claims she strives to provide good service and wait times of 3 weeks are normal. Unfortunately, I have been waiting since December 2021. That is the date of the first draft of the trust I paid her $3,000 to draw up and place 3 parcels in. She finished the trust and placed one parcel in it in 2022. Since that time at least 24 emails (which I still have) and countless phone calls later she has managed to place the second parcel in the trust. The 3rd parcel which is in a forestry program has now been mailed and received by king ****** as far as I know. I do not yet know if it was done properly. She states the delay is due to the pandemic and king ******, but I hired her to do the job 11/2 years ago, and king ****** only received the documents a week or two ago. Lastly, she states she has done this at no charge which is not true. I paid her in 2021. The job will be completed when the documents are accepted and filed by king ******.
