February 14 through March 29.Approximately 20k.He bid 34k for a garage conversion and some siding work.Screwed everything up. Had to force him to redo cement over when his forms blew out. He tried to convince me it was ok.****** is terrible. Floor plan was a freestanding deck on an uneven garage slab despite my protests for footings, posts, beam and joists.Very shady billing practices.

Due to ***** doing some of his own work (like the plumbing & electrical). Blue Collar Home Remodeling has had to clean up after ***** leaving construction debris in the job site. Blue Collar Home Remodeling has had to wait for him to finish up so we can move forward. There's been several hours spent discussing the project with ***** during working hours because there are no blueprints for this job & ***** has changed his mind a few times (originally he wanted the water heater in the mudroom, that changed the placement of the window, he changed his mind and moved the location of the hot water heater & water softener and when ***** moved those he routed the plumbing wrong to high. Blue Collar Home Remodeling Came to work and could not work on what we had planned on for that day. So we called him to talk about it and he suggested modifying the floor joist and we told him no that's not possible.. Blue Collar Home Remodeling has had to stop and refocus on what we are doing several times and change projects in the middle of the day. ***** had supplied Blue Collar Home Remodeling with Materials that were the wrong dimension and it would not work. ***** had to then get the correct materials which took time away from the job progress. This is all contributing to the job being pushed out longer than we had originally agreed. We did not charge him for the replacement of the concrete wall. We paid for that and made it right for him . He did not have to force us to do it I offered as soon as I had seen it . Our reason for stopping his job is because there are no permits for the job. I had asked for blueprints from an engineer and was given something he had drawn off the computer that I do not believe was to code. ***** had asked us to switch gears and work on other jobs that we had not been paid for yet so I submitted a letter stating I would exchange the cost of the garage conversion for the other jobs. That brought him to a zero balance then told him we were going to quit working for him. He did not respond to the letter I sent. Then ***** started saying stuff on ******** to give my company a bad reputation and tell people not to higher us we do bad work. He was posting photos of unfinished work and some of his own work that was not good saying that we had done it. ***** paid a nonrefundable deposit some of with is materials that are his and were left there. We started his job 2-27-23 and the last day was 3-27-23 he paid a total of $13,317.12  . ***** has threatened violence to my company .
