I bought multiple giftcards in 2022 when they had a promotion of buy a $25 giftcard get a free drink however in recent months they stopped taking the giftcards because they are making changes to the gift card system, i went multiple times and got the same response so I opted to come back another time. Everytime I came, I got the same excuses. I finally got fed up and asked to speak to the manager because it is unfair that I have over $80 worth of giftcard money that cannot be used. Workers said manager is not in but can take my information and pass on to their manager as a lot of people have complained about the same thing and also provided the staff their information for management. This has been 2 months ago since they took down my information with no follow up. They also said they have a new giftcard machine but mines wont be granted and I would need to email happylemon to have them send me a new one with my balance onto a new card that can be used at all happy lemon locations. I did email them and they did respond within 2 days, i sent them all the proof of receipts/purchases they asked for and since then they have not replied to me. Its been over 1.5 months since the first email, but they are not doing anything to compensate me and the others who have purchased the giftcards! They are taking our money and wasting our time and are not trying to resolve this simple issue that they brought upon by making these changes suddenly, even catching the workers off guard. I am very upset and I need this to be resolved because it is not fair to myself to continuously spend my own money to purchase for my kids when I have multiple giftcards that could be used.
