In April 2022 I rented a Uhaul truck for moving. I paid the initial fee and signed a contract electronically. I was not given a paper copy of this contract or sent an electronic copy. I was then charged an additional cleaning fee of $100 dollars without any knowledge of this being a fee able to be billed by the owner at their discretion which I would have contested. There were no pictures of the truck to show severity. I cancelled my credit card and contacted the business to dispute the ****. The business tried to charge my card without my approval. I am also now being billed a late payment charge of $30 dollars. I was also charged for gas on top of a mileage charge of $49 dollars after I was told to fill up the truck up with the gas I had used which I completed before returning the vehicle. I feel this business is running a scam and needs to be reported. If I am sent to collection for these charges I would hope to not have any damage done to my credit considering these unfounded and ridiculous fees. Again this is regarding the business calling themselves "Uhaul"
