They fire the employees for no reason! They make them show up for work just to notify them that they are fired. The owner ***** descriminates. They sell expired food and have a RAT PLAGUE !Business response

To whom it may concern,
We are sorry you feel this way but we do not discriminate and take that claim very seriously.
We as a company nor the owner of Discount Direct has ever discriminated nor will we ever discriminate. If an employee was fired it was for a reason.
Our company nor the owner of Discount Direct just fire employees. There are normally previous incidents that have led to the firing and yes we do like to do it in person for professional reasons.
As far as the rats we do not have a rat plague and as far as the food it is not expired but we do have food that has best buy dates which is not considered expired.
If there is expired food we always ask for people to bring it to our attention so we can dispose of it.

purchased a bedroom set in April 2021. Bedroom set included: bed, chest, dresser mirror, 2 nightstands. Paid 1000$ upfront. ( delivery was 270$) so was disclosed in the purchase order. I only got the chest in September 2021. until then I reached out a few times, manager gave me 200$ on remaining Purchase order balance. update- after I receive my chest in Sep, i wanted answers when the rest will come. no stable answers, have all correspondance in the email. everybody was nice besides *************, she took matters in her hand and after i wrote a review stating this is shady business to wait over 6 months, she called me and condesandingly fully canceled the rest of my order. now i have mismatching furniture i waited 6 months nothing came, time lost and none the less she has charged me full delivery charge of 270$ . I asked to get half of it refunded as it is only fair since not all pieces were delivered. She declined and was rude. UNTIL THIS DAY THAT SET IS ADVERTISED AS 4 WEEKS - FAKEBusiness response

We apologize for you having to wait on you furniture and completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately Covid has made it very hard to receive furniture or any merchandise for that matter in a timely fashion. Everything has been pushed out due to coming from overseas. It looks like Rose did offer you two options and those were to 1: Cancel the whole order and schedule a day for us to pick up what you have in your home to receive the refund or 2: Wait until the new ETA of the merchandise.
