      I gave Crafthammer a $2,800 deposit for a number of items to be provide for a new house we were building. After four months he informed me he cracked one of the pieces of wood I provided for a powder room counter. I at that point informed Crafthammer that I would NOT be using him for the rest of the job given we were trying to complete the construction and get our certificate of occupancy so he was holding up all our plumbing. I asked for an invoice for the one bath counter he provided, and for my original wood back so I could use as accent pieces. Three months later, no wood, no invoice and no return of my deposit. Happy to pay for the one piece he didnt break but it was not worth $2,800, given the entire bid was $10,400 for two bathroom counters, an 12 mantle and a 14 concrete hearth. Of which, again he sanded and stained one piece that I provided the wood for and NOTHING else. I do not expect him to do anything but thought it best to file a complaint first so others know that a) his work is amateurish at best and b) he has more excuses than tools.

      In August of 2022 I gave ******************* of Crafthammer Designs a $4000 deposit for a table that he indicated it would take a month to a month and a half to complete. After after many attempts to keep ***** on track with the project, including purchasing additional materials myself and giving them to him, it had still not been completed by January 2023, at which time I was due with my first child and therefore requested a refund of the initial deposit made as it was more than 5 months past the timeframe he committed to. He agreed to issue a refund but it is now May and I havent seen any refund or even materials from the job he bid on and we contracted him for after numerous requests. **** also be following up with other entities for resolution.

      On Feb 2, 2022 I paid $3200 deposit to ******************* (aka Crafthammer Designs) as half payment for a commissioned desk and cabinets. He indicated it would *********** to 8 weeks to build (and deliver). After numerous excuses over seven months by Sept 6 2022 there was still no sign that he had even begun to build the desk. So I requested a refund of my deposit. ************ indicated he would refund the deposit but since then repeatedly promised to repay the deposit "next week", "tomorrow", or "by the end of the month." that he did not follow through on. While he did repay $500 in Nov, Dec, and Feb, bringing his outstanding debt to $1700, at the pace he has been repaying my deposit it would take him until summer 2023 to zero out his debt. Yet he has repeatedly stated that he had the funds in his account to repay my deposit and has never offered credible reasons why he could not simply return the balance of my money he took for something he never even started on. Instead he has been lying and delaying for almost 6 months dragging his feat on providing a deposit refund. He clearly earned his F rating from BBB.

      Gave him a $2200 deposit for a project on 1/20/22 for a project he said would take roughly a month to complete. After months of excuses (when I could manage to get a hold of him at all), I finally asked for a full refund. He gave me $1000 of it back, and Ive been waiting 2 months for the remaining $1200 which I have yet to receive (though he keeps giving me more excuses and empty promises about when I can expect it, the dates of which come and go with no retribution). This guy cant be trusted and I want my money so I can hire a real professional with integrity. Ive attached the original estimate and PayPal receipt and have miles of text messages since asking for a refund, if you need to see them.

      We hired ***** to turn our heirloom family piano into three tables. We signed a contract last October with a completion dates of December 2021 (see screenshot). 12 months later we have no pieces, no response from him and continued excuses/promised of completion every week since March with nothing. I have text record of everything. We want either a deposit refund or completion of the work. This piano is priceless.

      We contacted Crafthammer Designs about creating a outdoor patio table for us in June 2021. We got in touch with ******************* the owner, designer and fabricator. He told us he was able to create a fire table for us for $3,400 and wanted us to pay a deposit of $1,700 and also $740 for the fire producing element he would purchase from his distributor to use for the fire table he would create.He sent us a hand-sketch drawing of what the table would look like and a contract. He also sent us his Venmo info for us to pay the 50% deposit and amount for the heating element. Total of $2,440 was paid to him via Venmo.Over the course of 1 year, he has given us excuse after excuse as to why he hasn't been able to deliver or create the table. We have evidence of all communication via text and emails. We asked for a refund as we have not seen anything produced for us and it has been over 1 year now. He has stated he will refund us. We spoke with him and he agreed to refund us by a deadline which has passed. We have not seen the refund and he has stopped taking our calls and not returning texts.This is a scam and he is a fake contractor.

      On 2/15 I entered into an agreement with this business to produce a product (outdoor bench set). The business owner ******************* insisted that I pay him a $2000 deposit for serviced to be delivered on or before 3/15. After making contact with him after the delivery date he informed me he was having personal problems and would provide me with a full refund. When I requested my money he begun sending me threatening and nefarious emails telling me how we would abuse the small claims court process to ensure that I do not get any of my money back. He has made it clear that he knows how to abuse the system and get away with taking money from clients forcing them to take days off to appear at the small claims court until they gave up. When I advised him I was an attorney he paid me back $1000 and still refuses to refund my deposit. I have received no good from the time he took my money. He has once again begun sending me aggressive and threatening emails telling me he will pay my money back on his terms. I have seen complaints online about his threatening and abusive behavior towards customers and I wonder how many times he has gotten away with taking money, delivering no goods or services and bullying his customers into submission until they give up. I am asking for a remedy to stop this business from abusing and enriching itself from unsuspecting consumers. I would like a refund and I would also like a record of this threatening and abusive customers to prevent other customers from experiencing the frustration and loss I have experienced.
