I paid *********************** of Remodel Handyman to do an clean and easy move of my washer and dryer for me. He is put the washer hoses back on without Teflon tape or checking for leaks. As a result there were leaks and the drywall on both sides of the wall, as well as the wood got wet and grew mold which he just covered up. He did come out, use tape and secure the leak, and left. The mold was there for more than a week. I had a fan blowing on it to dry the area the whole time. When he came back, the drywaller he brought disconnected my washer for access, then put it back in place without replacing the drain hose My nursing assistant went to do a load of laundry flooding my hardwood floors. Which I had to clean up and the wood is curling. He also replaced a door for me and had never come back to finish the trim, gap in the floor or caulk the areas. There are many other problems with drywall, floor, trim, etc. mostly being unfinished or sub par. This was supposed to take one week it has been 3 months, still isn't done, and now he says I am "too demanding" and isn't going to come back as it is "costing him too much to keep making trips out here". When he does come out, he has no materials or tools, just looks at stuff and leaves. I have never in my life had to deal with some one so unprofessional. I have given him more than $4000 in cash, plus $500 cash for the change order for the door, plus other amounts of cash as he kept upping the price. When I told him no more until the job was finished he said he wasn't coming to finish the job. At this same time he also did an awing for the doorway to an outbuilding. He came unprepared used my metal roofing which he was supposed to replace. It leaked so bad the water was running under the doorway into my building almost worse than what I was trying to prevent. My farm hand fixed them himself. Then in his text messages he resorted to calling my filthy names.
