We found the New School at Chambers Bay while looking for child care back in April of 2022. We scheduled an appointment for a tour, and were told a space would be available for our child the following month. We were told to pay the $150.00 application fee, which was paid on April 07, 2022, then to wait for the availability. We waited for two months and no one reached back out to us. We emailed on June 07, 2022 to check on the status of our enrollment, however they said they were in the middle of re-contracting and could not provide an updated estimate or timeline for our daughter to begin. We obliged. Approximately two more months went by, so we emailed on July 29, 2022 to get an update for an estimated start date. After no response via email, we called and left multiple messages. On Aug 03, 2022, we received an email stating they couldn't provide an approximate time for our daughter to start care. We requested a refund of our application fee, to which we were denied.
