    I contracted Resicon to do several things at 2 of my properties: my primary residence and a rental property that I own, both in ******. At my primary residence, they agreed to install a furnace and new ducting, as I previously only had electric wall heaters (cadets). They encountered a problem in one of the wall cavities where duct work was supposed to go and I stopped them from continuing because they were about to change the plan and place ducting right where I stand at my work bench, which would have caused me to hit my head while working. We came up with a plan for some costom duct work that will fit the space but they have totally ignored the matter. This was back in Oct of 2022. I had the cadets decommissioned right before Resicon started work. It is now the middle of winter and my only heat source is a fireplace. At my rental property, they agreed to do an entire house rewire (update from *** and tube to grounded), add a fireplace, install a new furnace with a fan and thermostat, install a gas oven and a microwave with a vent, add some new ducting in the attic space. They have done so many things wrong, I don't know where to begin. They drilled holes in my newly finished wood floor, they drilled holes in my counter tops, they cut 7 incorrect/mistake holes in the walls that needed to be patched and repaired, they installed lights and light switches wired incorrectly, they missed several light installations, the fireplace has no safety guard or thermostat or control switch (no hi/lo or fan control; just on/off), they have sent workers without scheduling them with me first, which is trespassing, no inspection has been scheduled, and many many more things. I signed a contract for the work back in Sept and they said it should take about 1 week to complete. It's now the end of January. Although they resolved most of the issues about 3 weeks ago, several are still pending. My biggest issue now is that I am being ignored. I just want them to finish the job they agreed to do. I am ready and willing to file a lawsuit if that is what it takes, but I thought contacting the BBB would be a good next step, as no one really wants to go to court. But seriously, they are aware that I have no heat and they are ignoring the situation. The last I heard from them was on Monday the 16th via a text that said they would send an email and I haven't heard from them since. I can't keep waiting forever. I need this to be over, and I need heat in my house.

    Installed bathroom fan and is constantly running. The numbers from the blower door test went from good to worse. I called and was given the run around.The owners wife said she had thirty years of experience, sitting behind a desk making appointments.Bathroom fan is still on

    Unfortunately I do not know who this particular customer is so I can be certain I am addressing these concerns with 100% confidence, but based on the comments it appears to be a customer in the ****** County Low income weatherization program. My name is ***** and I am the owner of Resicon (with my business partner). First, the fans installed in this program are specified by ****** County, not by Resicon. We are simply the installer. The fan is designed to run continuously at a low speed to meet ASHRAE **** ventilation standards for providing healthy air quality for the home. ****** County auditors are responsible for determining and setting the proper continuous ventilation fan speed (not Resicon). In addition, the fans are usually include a condensation sensor which automatically boosts the fan speed to high when an increase in humidity levels is sensed. So if there is high moisture content in the air, the fan will stay running at high speed. The blower door test is not conducted by Resicon. It is conducted by ****** County. I'm not sure how the fan it related to this comment and we have no knowledge of what the blower door test numbers are. With regard to my wife. My wife has only worked for Resicon for about 2 years. Prior to that she worked for ****** County in the low income weatherization department for just over ************************************************************************* (not sitting behind a desk making appointments). Her knowledge of these programs is extraordinary.Based on what I am seeing in your comments and what I know of these programs having been a participating contractor in them for the last 12 years, it sounds like you have misdirected your dissatisfaction at the wrong entity. I would encourage you to reach out to your auditor at ****** County with your concerns and perhaps they can better explain things. Side note: ************* fans installed are very energy efficient. Even running on high 24/7 all year, the cost to operate is about $5.00 for the whole year. Resicon is proud of the fact that we have been a participating contractor in multiple agencies low income weatherization programs for 9+ years providing free services to people in need through the grant ******** To date we have helped over **** customers improve their lives through energy efficiency upgrades we have installed. We truly hope that in the end you will be satisfied with the new energy efficient upgrades and know it will help improve the environment in which you are living. Best!
