*********************** was in for a oral surgery consult for orthodontic reasons. (Expose & Bond)Paid $96.00 I have tried multiple times to get financial estimate. Dr ********************** had mentioned 3 different options. Which included removing multiple teeth.. I just wanted the estimate and imaging which I understood was part of my consult fee $96.I stopped by the clinic last week as a last resort and since I have not heard back from them, I have no other option but to ask for my money back.Business response

Patients mom called our office on 11-29-2021 to schedule for an initial evaluation. Patient was scheduled and seen for this evaluation on December 28,2021.
During this evaluation Dr ********************** discussed the plan below:
Plan: Reviewed with mom removing remaining baby teeth, then making room for 6 and 11 with ortho. After there is adequate room for 6 and 11 we can expose and bond tooth number 6. Full DPARQ all questions asked
Mom is deciding between doing Oral sedation vs I* sedation depending on treatment plan.
Mom has seen multiple orthodontists, her and her husband are going to decide where they are going for ortho over the next month or so. Once that is determined Dr. * will email images with orthodontist to correspond the best Treatment plan.
At the time of the evaluation no treatment estimate was presented to mom as she understood that we were waiting to hear back from her regarding the orthodontist of their choice. As was discussed with her, Dr **********************s surgical treatment would be pending on the orthodontists treatment plan.
Our office waited to hear back from mom on her decision of which orthodontist she would be going to be seeing for treatment.
2-10-2022 Dr ********************** received an email from ********************* discussing possible treatment plan. In this email ********************* expresses that hes not sure if mom will be moving forward with treatment with him as he says,shes gotten other opinions.
2-10-2022 Dr ********************** emails ********************* back more details regarding a treatment plan and also expressed that the correspondence has been delayed due to waiting on mom and her final decision on an orthodontist.
5-3-2022 Patients mom came in and wanted us to put together a Treatment estimate. I discussed with her that we were waiting on her to see what ortho she was going to go to so we could start corresponding. I told her I would discuss with Dr * now that she's decided that she'll be going to see *********************.
5-9-2022 Spoke with **** at ************************* office to see if we are ok to move forward with Treatment for ***** and if there was an updated referral- AC
Per **** at ************************* office no Treatment plan changes we can move forward with Treatment - I will email Dr * to put in the Treatment estimate so I can send to mom.
5-11-2022 Emailed mom treatment estimate.
5-12-2022 We received email response from mom requesting a refund for the initial evaluation from December 28, 2021. On this same day we received the notice of a complaint with the BBB.Customer response

At time of appt I was told 3 different options
1) expose&bond
2) expose&bond+removal of a tooth
3)expose&bond+removal of a tooth + removal of wisdom teeth
I was surprised because my daughter's dentist nor orthodontist had mentioned/suggested tooth removal. I asked for an estimate of all three options so that I could sit down with my orthodontic estimates and make an informed decision. Dr * said that he would send the estimates over to an orthodontist. I called in January to see if I could please get an estimate as I wanted to get my daughter in braces and was hoping that I could afford DrPritchard but I would need to know the oral surgery cost so that I could make a decision. I called again in Feb and again did not hear back. I spoke to Dr ********** ****** and told them my concerns. I tried calling one more time and then drove 5/3 to the ****** of NW oral and hoped to walk away with the estimates. No luck. I reached out to ************************* ****** one last time on May 11 to see if by chance they had the estimates. When they responded that they had not, I filed with BBB on 5/11. I later got an email from nw oral with the estimate but I had reached my limit of patience, I had already filed the complaint with BBB. I am very frustrated that it took 5 months and after the frustration, I no longer trust to have my care provided at the clinic.
