      I received a new 3 tooth dental bridge and two dental crowns by Peppermint Dental in August of 2023. I financed the procedures through ****** for the amount of $3,229.22. This was the estimated amount that I would owe after my insurance paid their part. The dental worked was billed to my Delta Dental insurance plan. Currently, these insurance claims are still pending after 7 months. Delta Dental has been waiting for more information from Peppermint Dental before they can complete the claims. I have called both Delta Dental and Peppermint Dental several times each. I cannot get a resolution to this problem. Peppermint Dental says they have a "third party" who handles their billing and that they have contacted them about this. But I still do not have a resolution after several months of reaching out to them. My concern is that when my insurance claims are finalized, I will actually end up owing Peppermint Dental less than what they charged me. I do not believe they factored in the network discounts in my amount owed to them. I would like the BBB to get Peppermint Dental to provide the information Delta Dental is asking for so that my claims can be paid off and officially closed, and I can see the final amount that I owe to Peppermint Dental. If the amount is less than what they charged me, I want a refund.

      Hello, 

      We have been working on this for patient *************************. Our office submitted a pre authorization to ****************** before services were completed. We charged ****** exactly what the insurance pre authorization quoted her. This was a very large and expensive procedure which insurance has been requesting more information for. Our office utilizes an outsourcing  company for claims follow up and after what we were sending Delta Dental in office was not meeting their needs we asked the outsourcing company Dynamic Dental to help with these claims. Back in January our office followed up with Dynamic Dental and did not get a response back. Recently again we followed up with them and were informed that the person originally helping left suddenly on medical leave and has yet to return. We now have a new person with Dynamic Dental working on this and she ensured us that we will get this taken care of for the patient. We want to get this resolved as well and are more than happy to do whatever it takes for that.
