      I originally had booked a room at the Shilo Inn located in *********** from the 7th of July for 3 nights. After the first night I canceled my 3rd night. I would have preferred to cancel both the 2nd and 3rd night, but I was told I would not receive a refund for the 2nd night.upon arrival, both restaurants were closed, and the couch in the arrival area was sitting on bricks. The room was dirty. There was mold in the bathroom, and the fan in the bathroom was very loud when it did work. The lights above the vanity would only occasionally come on after about 5 minutes, and the light covers were broken. There were stains on the sheets, and items from a previous guest on the floor.The first evening we were there, we went to the indoor pool area and there were band aids and geese f**** in the pool area. I reported the findings to the front desk Monday morning, and when we left Tuesday morning, the band aids and f**** were still there.We did try to have breakfast before leaving the hotel and there was a meatless breakfast....not what I would consider breakfast, so we ate elsewhere.I am requesting that I be refunded for the night of the 7th and 8th. The hotel overall was filthy. The halls leading to outside had garbage and were covered with something that had spilled. This remained that way the entire stay.I have emailed the company and have not received a response.

      I booked a room for two nights, the hotel was ruin down, dirty (wall paper peeling, broke tiles with pieces missing, and black mold on vents in pool area that also had chunks of missing and broken tiles) they never even came to get the dirty towels or trash out of the room. The patio had cigarette butts and dog p*** right out side the room. For the amount I had to pay I expected a nice hotel not a rundown hotel that wasnt worth more then a hundred a night if that. I highly recommend that no one ever stay here. There are cleaner and nicer hotels at ************ than this one. For what they charge you are better off staying at the casino (********) and get top rate service

      My husband and I stayed at the Shilo on March 4, 2022 due to my husband flying out of *********** early the next morning. On Sunday March 6th we discovered not only the $106.22 for the room, but an additional charge of $350. My husband called the Shilo asking what the additional charge was for. The front desk informed him it was a charge for smoking in the room and that they had found drugs in the room after we had left. Mind you, my husband and i have not and do not do any sort of drugs. My husband contacted the Manager **** to dispute the charge and was met with nothing but pure ignorance. I then called **** back and let him know who i was and that there was no way the room had been smoked in or any drugs found. I demanded to **** that he file a police report, provide the so called drugs found over to the police and demanded he drug test myself and my husband. **** refused to file a report, refused to produce the evidence, refused to drug test. I told him his claim was unfounded and untrue. He reported to me I will be charged and hung up on my. I tried to call back **** to let him know i would be filing a report with the BBB and ************************* and disputing the charge through our bank due to unfounded charges. I was hung up on once again. I will also be contacting the corporate office, guest services and court services. Most horrible experience i have ever had bar none. This could happen to anyone who stays at this location. Accuse you of horrible actions but offer no proof. I can see why it is not Accredited through the BBB. Avoid !!!!
