I went for a massage a month or so ago and had a terrible experience. My massage therapist, Nasmia, was incredibly unprofessional. When I first went into the room she excused herself to "pee" because she hadn't gone all day. I came in because I've been experiencing tension and stress headaches, I was expecting a relaxing experience and it was anything BUT that. She proceed to tell me how she's moved multiple locations (wonder why) and at her last location her coworker was fired for stealing her engagement ring and hiding it in her private areas (the language was much more vulgar). She continued to tell me about her family history, her boyfriends family history, her past relationships, her landlord problems, and anything you can possibly imagine.. At the end of the massage she gave me her cell phone and told me I could come to her apartment for a massage and not book through massage envy anymore (don't worry, her boyfriend will give us privacy). I felt like she was grooming me, who knows what would have happened had I decided to call her.The next day, I contacted ME and expressed my frustrations and concerns with the experience. I didn't hear back for a month, so I contacted again saying that if they did not respond I would leave a negative review, they called me IMMEDIATELY on 1/19/2023. They told me that she was suspended, apologized profusely, asked me not to let this reflect on their service or location, and offered no other resolution. I did not ask for a refund or credit, although felt it would have been a kind gesture. On Monday 1/23/2023 and today, 1/24/2023 I received 2 text messages telling me MY MASSAGE THERAPIST ****** HAD OPENINGS AND TO BOOK NOW BECAUSE SHE FILLS UP FAST!! So not only do they not take customer complaints seriously, they have lost my business, I will tell friends and family to stay away, and they LIED TO ME just to appease me. Disturbing experience to say the least.

I have a gift certificate from a few years ago that I havent used. I looked to get in touch with our local M.E. in ******** ** but they are permanently closed. So I emailed customer service asking to confirm the amount on the gift card. It should have been $75, but they said it was $0 and it was redeemed in October 2021. I just found this hidden in a drawer that I havent touched for years, and the only massage envy around me is permanently closed, how could I have redeemed it 5 months ago!!?? I wrote back to explain that I havent set foot in a massage envy in over 5 years and they have chosen not to respond to me. I even called the next closest branch, in **********, and they too have not gotten back to me. Im so disappointed in their customer service and will most definitely not be recommending them to anyone.

I have had multiple appointments deleted EVERY time I book them. It will start to get close to the appointment and I never get the call or text, I call them and they say I have nothing booked. I book at least 3 out, and the next time I go in I book the 3rd after that one. I have struggled to even get on the books, they always say theyre booked more than a month out. Thats for every therapist at all locations in the ***** area, not just a specific one or therapist.
