12/21/23 Matrix refuses to produce receipts for the 35 Plywoods used on my roof job. I'm more then happy to pay for 35 plywoods, but during my business dealings with ***, I have come to mistrust Matrix. Other roof bidder, had mentioned I would need approx 15...Matrix sent their lead roofer over to estimate early on; he said "its not that bad" as other estimate; During the project he did state 30 to 35 needed as they went to ********** to purchase. Initially when I asked for an itemized list of how they came up with the final bill, Matrix emailed me that they "did not provide this service" Finally I get an itemized bill, but receipts have been refused. 3 X. Owner will not respond to communication. Previous, when project was postponed due to weather, *** emailed me that I would be charged $250 month to reimburse for a suppliers fee for holding my metal roof (receptionist had told me they had it inhouse), but this was not provided for in my contract and is not within the law to bill me for this. I am very glad for any plywoods in question to have been replaced, I just want proof of what went up their as evidenced by the receipts, so I can know for sure what I have purchasedBusiness response

I apologize for any confusion regarding this matter. According to our contract terms, itemized invoicing isn't included, as it's not specified in the agreement. We provide narrative based estimates, which have proven to improve customer understanding of the scope of work. The customer agreed to our estimate contract and confirmed the plywood change order via email. We thoroughly investigated the request and provided the customer with purchase receipts from our supplier to validate the completion of our contractual obligations, which involved replacing the roof and installing 35 sheets of plywood. Despite our attempts to reach out via calls and emails, we haven't received a response from the customer at this stage.Initial Complaint

My real estate agent had matrix roofing give an estimate for roof repairs to certify the roof for 3-5 more years. The estimate was approximately $3000. I paid matrix roof $1450. On my credit card. The prospective buyers agent called my agent and told him to hold off on all repairs. I have been calling matrix roof since Feb 11,2022 and told they will call me back. No one calls back. To lose $1450. with no work done is real big to me money wise. I had to pay half down for this job which I am canceling. No work was done,no materials supplied. Job cancelled.Customer response

They have contacted me and are sending a check for $1450. Thank you for your service. It got results!
