    On March 5, 2024, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding services, customer service, and sales issues. Consumers allege they pay for services from Bridge City Firm and those services are not being provided. Consumers claim Bridge City Firm is unresponsive to their concerns. Consumers also claim the Bridge City Firm sales representatives misrepresents themselves as “Google Analytics” or “Google Quality Control.”

     

    On March 5, 2024, BBB notified the company of the complaint pattern. On March 11, 2024, BBB received a response from Bridge City Firm that failed to address the pattern of complaints. On March 12, 2024, BBB sent a follow-up email requesting additional information. To date, Bridge City Firm has not responded.

    Alert:

    On March 5, 2024, Better Business Bureau investigated Bridge City Firm’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a large volume of complaints alleging the business is not delivering on promised services, misrepresents themselves as “Google Quality Control” or Google Analytics,” and is difficult to contact when their customers are unsatisfied.

     


    On March 12, 2024, BBB requested information regarding these consumer allegations and Bridge City Firm’s association with The OMC Group due to both companies using the same business registration of Belmont Creative LLC. To date, BBB has not heard back from Bridge City Firm. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of Bridge City Firm or their association with The OMC Group.

    BBB’s first basic principle of the code of advertising is that “the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.”

    Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests.     30. Testimonials and Endorsements

     

    In general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if endorsements placed by advertisers in online blogs or on other third-party websites do not clearly and conspicuously disclose the connection to the advertiser and comply with each of the provisions in this Code.

      On December 15 they called me up and told me that they would provide me so many leads that I would not be able to handle it. I said we better not make this go live until February when I'm not so busy so they took $399 from me that day stating that it was for February than the next month they took another 399 because I was enrolled in monthly billing that they told me they weren't going to do until after February I file a fraud claim with my credit card company. I easily got the 399 back for the unauthorized billing. However the 399 I was told I was paying for and I never received a single phone call. When I disputed this with the credit card company they sent back information stating that they provided the service that I requested which they did not provide a single phone call and they could not provide evidence from their tracking numbers that they ever did. They did however provide evidence to the credit card company that they essentially made a listing a ****** listing that I had when I worked for a previous company and made a bunch of links to it which I specifically told them I absolutely did not want to do I don't work for that company anymore so now I'm in the middle of fighting with these lovely folks.I want all of my money back. Got the 399 back easily for the fraud committed for billing my credit card without my authorization January 15th. I want the ************************************************************************************************** they were going to provide in the fact they screwed up the other listing I have by creating another listing in the same location not only did they not provide any leads but they jacked up the other one that I had that was working so I paid them to basically take something away from me this is not ethical business I want all my money back if I have to I will fly to Washington to *** you for $399 I'm one of those people.

      First of all these guys at Bridge City promised me the first page on ****** after 3 months its been a year now and I am not even in the search engine. They don't answer your calls and charge your credit card even after you tell them to cancel due to no services they promised. They will hold your business hostage and do something on social media and on ****** for your business to be suspended and they will avoid your calls at all costs I waited for hours and no one answered, don't do it stay away from these crooks!
