I bought a car from them april 12 2024. A couple days later i noticed it was making a noise i took it to a shop and it had a radiator leak and there was a part on exhaust that was broken. After calling and asking if i can return the car and them offering to transfer my contract to a car that was literally half the price ,they wanted to transfer my contract so id pay double for said car. I told them no and after calling and talking to them several times they had me bring the car in to make it right finally on may 17 a month after i initially contacted them they replaced the radiator and fixed the exhaust. I never signed anything saying i was using my warrenty. By law they have to fix under implied warrentys My problem is this 2 months after i bought the car on june 14 i sold the car n cancelled the warranty with the dealership and now instead of getting my refund of 4500+400.50 for wa taxes they're offering me 800$ when the car was broken when i bought it and it was supposedly certified. Also the tracking for two years was 599 which at the time of purchase they did not explain that it was optional and they refuse to cancel it when my bank and the tracking company told me that the dealership does that and that it is cancellable. The sales ***************** was a total douche when i went to cancel my service contract. Seemed irritated that i was there yet again about the car. I am owed a full refund for warranty and cancellation of the tracking device for the car and refund for it as well. I put barely any miles on the car because before it was fixed (may17)i let it sit and did not drive it until it was fixed so it wouldn't get worse.the car had ****** miles at time of purchase and ****** miles when i sold. That is only 1990 miles so my refund should be full if not very close. I also cancelled the gap and got it through my bank that financed the car for a cheaper price and they were supposed to send a refund to my bank and still havent, that was an additional 999.$.

      To whom it may concern,

After discussing this over with my management team I would like to clear up a few things.  First of all its not professional to call one of my managers (*****) a total Douche.  We were waiting on all the cancelation documents to submit for refunds.  We have since done this and submitted a check back to her bank in the amount of $4,306.01 and mailed to Global Credit Union.  ******************* will need to contact her bank for a refund as we submitted to them because we don't have anything in our possession directly from the credit union showing the loan has been paid off in full.  In regards to the repairs nothing else was promised during the purchase of her vehicle and the repairs were completed using her service contract.  The vehicle did not come with any Factory Warranty remaining.  Its also true the vehicle was a Certified Pre Owned vehicle which is a limited powertrain warranty that we paid for and attached to that vehicle.  Typical vehicles like this one with CPO certifications retail for $41,694 per ***** Blue Book and yet we sold ours for $39,086.

I would like to ask that this complaint be removed from our files.

      Regards,

      *******************, President

I took in my jeep in to get a transmission fluid change due to rough transmission shifting, no *** codes at this time. ****** advised that it was too early to service on fluid change and to bring the car in for a $196 diagnostic. On 12/7/23 I dropped off the car for a diagnostic and was told during a test drive the car got a P061B error code and diagnostic was a $2300 *** computer replacement. I refused service until I could gather funds to pay. I dropped off Jeep on 12/18/23 for *** replacement service. I had to call the dealership for an update on 1/2/24 on which they told me they cleared the P061B code from the *** but could not erase the code from the *** and suggested the only way to clear the code was to purchase a $800 ***. I refused service at the time as I was told the transmission was fine even with the *** code. As I took the car home the transmission shifts were still rough and now my engine coolant needle was not getting to the proper temperature. I called and told the dealer about the issue that they may have misdiagnosed my broken *** with a failed coolant sensor as the reason for the rough shifting and P061B generic error code for too much torque calculation. Dealer denied the connection but looked over the car on 1/9/24. Dealer later confirmed that the car had multiple communication error codes and it could be the coolant sensor and its wiring and quoted me $600 to fix it. I denied service but stated it was misdiagnosed to begin and that was causing rough shifts. Dealer denied the claim. ****** said they reflashed the *** and all error codes were gone and car is shifting normal. Dealer refused to give me a service documentation for this .Drove the car home and got all the error codes and rough shifting again. Called dealer but they never returned my call after leaving voicemail. I fixed the car by replacing the coolant sensor which got rid off all *** codes and the rough shifting. I have filed a complaint with Jeep Corporate as well.

Customer declined repairs at the time.  See attached Repair orders and diagnostic testing per manufacture.

Returned the vehicle to the customer with a full explanation of what was repaired, and the trouble code being stored in the ***.
************** Brought the vehicle back on 01/09/2024 stating that now the transmission still felt like it was shifting incorrectly, the vehicle would run rough, and the temperature gauge needle was not getting to the proper temperature. These concerns were never brought up before. There was no repair order made at this time. The service manager offered to test drive the vehicle as a goodwill toward the customer so there would be no charges.During the test drive the service manager verified the temp gauge would drop to zero. This was a new concern unrelated to the original complaint. The customer was given a quote to replace the temperature sending unit and connector. The customer declined repairs again.  A quick learn was performed again on the transmission due the severe weather conditions at the time (Snow and ice on the roads) so it could properly learn shifting and driving habits. No other repairs were made and the vehicle was returned to the customer still needing the temperature sending unit.

We repaired the vehicle in accordance using the proper procedures for the original trouble code and even diagnosed a new problem as goodwill at no charge for which ************** declined our services.  We ask that this case be closed.

      Complaint: 21283432

I am rejecting this response because:
It makes absolutely no sense that I bring you a car without a check engine light (***) and stating that it has rough transmission shifting and you give back a car with a  Malfunction Indicator Lamp(***) for a P061B for internal torque calculation error. You tell me that the only way to get rid of the permanent DTC code in the *** is to buy a new ***. I am aware that a code can be store in the *** long term as a means to deter people from erasing the *** codes and trying to sell a car but if the *** senses that its stored code has not been resolved it will illuminate the ***. My complaint is not that the P061b was stored as a permanent DTC code but that the original issue that was causing the *** to turn on was not solved as a result of the code being stored in the ***. If the issue was the *** and you swapped it out and the code was stored in the *** the *** would run multiple cycles to check for the stored code and if an error was present it would illuminate the ***. The code could have been stored in the *** and if no errors were found the the check engine light (***) would not turn on even with the code present in the ***. This was not my case as my car kept having the *** go off.

My check engine light (***) kept turning on and I kept scanning the code using a handheld OBDII and the P061B was still present. The transmission jerking was getting worse and so I brought it in to have you look at it because the original code and symptoms were still there. Now you had another symptom that was telling you that the P061B which is a generic code may not have been solved as it was still illuminating with the ***. When you checked out the car on 1/9/24 and I get a voice mail stating that the car had error codes, you should have clearly been able to see that the original P061B code that you found was still there. During this time dropping off the car you had me sign the car in that I was not being charged and you would look over the car but why did you refuse to sign me out? I never got a document that I had taken the car from you. If you had given me the document I bet you that you would have had to print on the document what codes you found which would have included the original P061B. If the code was still there and the transmission symptoms were getting worse then it is clear you did not solve the original complaint I had about rough transmission shifting.

When it was apparent you were steering away from accountability I made sure to buy a proper coolant temperature sensor and when it was replaced the P061b code stopped illuminating on the ***. The transmission started shifting normally.
This tells me that the generic code for P061b was that the computers were sensing an issue but just because you found it in the *** doesnt mean the *** was the faulty part. If a coolant sensor is going bad and sending a wrong signal but still sending a signal then the *** thinks that the car is colder than it actually is and dumps fuel into the car to warm it up and by adding more fuel can cause a transmission to shift incorrectly or at a higher RPM. This could be why you found the P061b in the *** but it doesnt mean it was the issue with the car.

You decided it would be an easier fix to have me throw money for a new *** without prop0erly investigating why the P061B could have been illuminated and caused the *** to turn on.
Let me be clear, this is not a situation in which I brought the car to you to fix a transmission but I now thought a wheel bearing was the issue and am looking to s**** your company. No. My complaint is that based on the symptoms of the car and the fact that it was returned to me with the same symptoms I truly feel you were negligent in properly diagnosis my car and had me waste money that I maybe did not need to spend.

The fact is that when I solved my error codes being illuminated and the transmission from shifting incorrectly on my own by replacing the coolant sensor I learned that the money I gave to your business to fix the original complaint even if it was "found" in the *** did not adequately solve the issue.

Lets remember I came to you with a shifting transmission problem and just wanted a transmission fluid change. You convinced me to pay for a diagnosis and I expected a proper diagnosis. I did not come to you with a check engine light on. You found the light in the system but as I was monitoring the car at home using OBDII after you gave it back I noticed the code was flagging the computer to turn on the *** and the transmission was getting worse. I truly hope we can solve this manner at this time.

      Sincerely,

      Hector

First off, They titled the vehicle in my personal name instead of my business name, insisting that it solely was to save me money on interest. They were fully aware of my intentions for the vehicle and were also aware that I had a commercial loan on hold for my trailer, they insisted that everyone in my industry does this, and it wouldn't interfere with registering with the state as a commercial vehicle. I was not able to actively register for over 3 months and had to spend thousands getting the vehicle refinanced and retitled. They also sent me off the lot with 2 active recalls, one of which left me broken down in Snoqualmie pass for almost 3 days, sleeping in the vehicle because I was too far away from town to walk to a safe location. When I reached out to them for help, they said verbatim "What do you want us to do? We're not a f****** tow company." Still not fully aware yet of how much damage was done internally relating to the fuel pump recall which caused the breakdown. So after maybe **** miles and 3 months of waiting to use the vehicle for work and 10s of thousands of dollars in lost profit, my tires in the rear of the truck were not holding air, so I went to have them inspected at *******************. And after being reassured by the dealership that they had new tires put on, and I should have no worries for quite some, ******************* informs me that not only are they NOT brand new they are over 4 years old and the seams of the tires were coming apart in several places, I was also informed that performing any type of duty could've gotten me killed if the tires were under ANY type of load and that even standard driving could be very dangerous. At 1st I was very proud of my purchase, The night that I purchased it. I did a walk around video on ******** before it left the dealership, And in the video you can clearly see where some of these are already coming apart. I had to spend ******* to replace the tires. The dealership told me tough s*** and they would not help.

      Complaint: 19876030

I am rejecting this response because:
There is now major issues that need to be dealt with besides the rotted tires. There has been new evidence provided to me by another legitimate dodge dealership that the repair work for the fuel pump recall and repair that the walla walla dealership handled were done incorrectly. This dealership informed me upon inspection that not only did they failed to follow the correct procedure for the repair, but they failed to remove existing fuel rails, and lines to remove contaminates from the system, but they also did not remove the existing fuel from the tanks, or remove the pump from the tanks, they did not clean the fuel tanks to clean any potential contaminates from reentering the system. This was supposed to be done according to protocol since the vehicle was brought in on a trailer and deemed inoperable. What this has done since the original event occurred on January 18th 2023, has started a chain reaction of events that has caused irreversible damage, to not only the fuel system, but also the engine, and from what I understand the entire powertrain system. I have a stack of paperwork showing the proper operating procedure for the recall repair in hand from FCA, and according to these documents along with an inspection of the vehicle from a certified dodge dealership, proving that the guidelines for this procedure were not only followed incorrectly, but have caused irreparable damages to the vehicle due to extreme negligence. The total amount of hours required for said repair was stated at thirty hours due to everything that needed to be addressed when following FCA protocol, which could have taken anywhere from 4 to 5 days to complete bare minimum. I received the vehicle back in less than 24 hrs. The fuel tanks were not drained, and as of Friday was notified that outside of putting on the replacement pump(just the hpfp) none of the other mandatory steps were taken, and because of this, the vehicle is now considered to be a ticking time bomb, with what their negligence had caused. I should never have been allowed to drive off the lot to begin with due to the recalls, and the fact that they didn't even follow the correct procedure to fix the issue, has caused damages that they should definitely be held accountable for. So now I am requesting either a buy back from the dealership, with all money returned, from down payment, monthly payments that have been made, money spent on NEW tires, and for the service I had to pay for Friday April 7th. Either that, or since this event initially happened on January 18th, **** I will be seeking out legal help on invoking the lemon law. I feel either is justified, because they were aware of the incedent previous to me purchasing the vehicle, they allowed me to drive home in the vehicle, and failed to properly repair the issue according to Chrysler protocol. I can fax over the the supporting documents for safety recall Y78/NHTSA 21V-800 if necessary.

      Sincerely,

This vehicle was sold with ****** miles on it.  See attached documents including a recall notice.  We have a back log currently on the fuel pumps for installation.  *************** broke we pushed back another customer to fix his.  Also, at 24k miles we dont do all the fluid changes as they are not factory recommended.  The vehicle was sold in good working condition free of any issues.  We even drove with a truck and trailer to customer to pick up truck from him and brought it back to fix it.

      Customer response

      11/21/2023

Hello, This is ********. I actually started the company in june of 2022, and over the last several months have been working towards finding the perfect vehicle and trailer combination, as well as doing my best to make sure all paperwork and files and forms were done correctly, to attempt to start this company the right way.
On December 29th, 2022 I went to the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership of Walla Walla, located at *********************************** to finally purchase the perfect truck.
Once we had agreed upon a trade in value for my personal vehicle and down payment for the 2019 ram **** I proceeded to tell them about what the company i started was all about, and exactly what my intentions were for the vehicle. They asked all sorts of questions about what i would be hauling, where i would be hauling, and also complimented me on the name of the company, and what kind of trailer I would be using for work. I proceeded to show them pictures of the trailer, explaining all the features and its capabilities, and I proceeded to explain that I already have a commercial loan in the works for the trailer but to that particular companies policy, I couldn't start the process until I had secured a truck first, and that was the reason i was there, for the purpose of putting the truck into commercial service immediately. I started to sign the paperwork with my company name, and had over half the application finished, and they told me not to. They took away that paperwork, and instructed me to put it under my personal name, i told them the trailer we were financing was going to be under the company name, and i didnt understand why the dealership was telling me not to do it as a commercial loan as well. They advised me to put my name down as well as my aunt ************************** for the names on the title, and i asked why she needed to be on the title if wasn't going to be under the business name, and they responded by telling me that if she was part owner, then she would need to be attached to the deal. I didn't really understand what they were trying explain, because it started becoming alot more complicated at this point, so i asked again if they were sure we shouldn't use the company name, and they responded with saying that everyone in this industry puts their vehicles in their own name, they do this for the sake of saving money on interest because commercial loans have a very high interest rate. I told them that we were aware of the interest being higher, and reminded them that the trailer was going to be financed under the company name, and that wasn't the main concern, I told them i just wanted to be able to go to work immediately. they reassured me several times that there would be no issues registeringfor commercial service, and that it could be registered for the ifta and the pro rate plates needed to do interstate hauling. We had to wait an 20 to 30 minutes due to the fact that the finance manager was trying to find a way to get an extended warranty attached to the vehicle, and again i reminded them that it was going to be a commercial vehicle, so there were no available warranties. They continued to try and find one, and finally came out and admitted that i was right. So at this point i know for certain, that they were well aware of the fact that this should have been a commercial loan and that they were aware of my intentions with this specific vehicle.
Fast forward a few weeks, there was an error receiving my info at the ***** from my insurance provider, so i had to wait until January 18th 2023 to go to my appointment with the *************************** of licensing, and i met with ***** and ****** to start my paperwork. I was supposed to be able to receive my IFTA tags, and my license plates after the appointment, and head straight from there and start my first run in ******** **********. But i found out that the dealership had lied to me, and that i would not be able to register my truck for duty because of the way i had been advised to sign the documents. I called the dealership from the **************** in ******* and had them speak with ***** because they needed to fix the title or i wouldnt be allowed to register, When ***** got on the phone the dealership proceeded to say that they didn't care who she is, and that she must be an idiot because she had no idea what she was talking about, becausethere was nothing stopping me from registeringas a commercial entity. ***** let them know that she has been with the ****** for 41 years and decided to let them know that since the title had not even been sent in yet, this would be an easy fix on the dealerships part, and that she advised them to do so in a timely matter. The dealership responded by saying absolutely not, and that's when ***** let them know that what they had done was called baiting the customer, and that she knew for a fact that dealerships get paid much faster on private party sales than they would a commercial sale, and that car dealerships do this alot to customers with no regard for what happens after they leave the dealership. From what I was also informed by *****, when a dealership orchestrates the paperwork, and guides the customer to fill out the paperwork in a particular manner it is illegal.
So once again they were instructed by ***** to fix the mistake, and they hung up on her. I also found out that not only were they lying about how the paperwork was filled out, but they had also put my aunt ******'s name down as the primary owner and not myself. And when they were questioned about this they claimed she had a higher credit score, which was also a lie. My credit score was 30 to 40 points higher, and they were joking about that at the dealership the day of the purchase. Making comments like "well I guess when you have that kind of money just sitting around what's a few points on your score anyway".
I would also like to point out that the fact that she wasn't even at the dealership when paperwork was getting done, and that the salesman *** had to follow me an hour and a half to our home to get signatures from her. Her only attachment to the vehicle purchase was supposed to be helping me with the down payment and it turns out that she did not need to be on the paperwork at all which was also a lie. So not only did they lie about the paperwork they also sent me off the lot with 2 MAJOR safety issues, so for them to say the vehicle was in a safe condition for me to be in is also a lie. Safety recall Y78 which is failure of the high pressure fuel pump, can cause engine failure, and will bring the vehicle to a screeching halt and also blows metal through the entire system causing catastrophic damage to not onlybthe fuel system but the engine itself. And if not addressed it can cause serious injuries or fatalities. When the pump fails the engine locks up, you do not roll to a stop, you completely lock up, and if you're in traffic this could cause not just the driver but other people on the road serious injuries or worse. If you're hauling a load and this happens,  it can cause the trailer to come slamming through the back of the vehicle and crushing any occupants inside the vehicle. This IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE and the reason chrysler issued a SAFETY RECALL. They also sent me off the lot with tires that were expired and rotting on the insides of the rear dual tires with threads from the sidewalls starting to become exposed. These were questioned at the time of the purchase and I was reassured that these tires were brand new. I will return to these 2 issues briefly, but back to where we were at with my complaint.
So instead of heading to make my first run, I had no choice but to head home. And as I reached ***************, the vehicle malfunctioned and was inoperable due to a recall part failing(high pressure fuel pump, main cause for safetyrecall Y78), so i spent 2 nights stuck on the pass with truck and trailer and no way to get home, and when i reached out to the car dealership they told me "sorry, we dont know what to tell you, were not a f****** tow company, figure it out" and then hung up on me(this was verbatim). It took some time, but with help of another company in my industry, i was able to get the equipment(truck and trailer) back to the tri cities mid friday morning. The dealership was quick to fix the issue(at least thats what was claimed by them. this turned out later to be a TOTAL LIE after an investigation by another dealership took place, regarding my vehicles engine failing again). I will get to this very soon as well.
After reaching out to several **************** agencies(DOL,WSP,DOR, ********** services, Attorney General) about my current situation, there would be a few options, but they would require several weeks to even a few months to fix the situation. As of January 26th, after even having several different agencies reach out to the dealership to fix this, the vehicle still hadn't been titled under anyones name, personal or company, and my first commercial insurance payment was due on the 31st, which is almost **** dollars by itself for just the truck portion, i was given a slight extension for the truck and trailer payments based on the situation, the truck payment is almost **** dollars and the trailer payment is right around ****-1400 as well. i have not been able to make a single ***** since i purchased the the truck due to this title issue, and have been losing out on anywhere from 7 to 10 thousand dollars a week, because i cant start working, I'm receiving any where from 10 to 20 calls a day asking if im able to run, or if i should be removed from their lists. This whole situation regarding the title took over 3 months and an ADDITIONAL ****** dollars to fix not to mention almost **** dollars a month in truck trailer and commercial insurance payments with now way to generate the income needed to cover this without help.
Back to the tire issue. I actually have a Time stamped video on ******** live, The Night of the purchase, while still at the dealership, showing threads coming through the side wall on the tires in question, the salesman *** reassured me that these were brand new tires and to just look at the tread, claiming everything is just fine with them,  and there's nothing wrong with the tires. My very first run after sorting out the title issue and getting commercial status, my tires started losing air with 18,000lbs of lumber on my trailer, and I almost wrecked coming into town because the tires were losing air so fast. I went to the left ****** Tire dealership in ******** and had them inspect my tires, they informed me that not only were the tires way past their expiration date by dot standards for being deemed safe to put on a vehicle for sale by a dealership, but the inner side walls were bursting and rotted and there was also threads coming through the sidewalls on two tires on the outsides as well. I looked back to the night of purchase and the same threads that were in this live video that I had already questioned were the same things that ******************* had said were the reason that these tires should have never been on the vehicle leaving the lot. They also signed a statement basing their opinions on their expertise in the field saying that the dealership knew better and just did not care because whoever was in charge of making sure those vehicles are safe for the road either knew about it and did not care or does not have the capability of determining what is safe and what is not for vehicles on the lot for purchase. I had to spend $2,200 that I did not have to replace these tires and when I called Walla Walla cdjr for help with these because I had questioned these before I drove off the lot the words that were said to me verbatim was "Get fucked" before I was promptly hung up on. I can provide proof of this video and I can also provide proof with the sign statement from the ******************* *********** in ******************* stating how these were a huge safety Factor and that they shouldn't have been allowed to be on the truck under no circumstances. Fast forward another two weeks and my vehicle starts having more issues and ended up coming to a screeching halt on me throwing me into my steering wheel, thank goodness I was only in our ******************* and not somewhere on a major road or highway or carrying any type of load. I had my truck towed over to Lithia Dodge in *********, and upon giving them the information, their service advisor, and their head diesel mechanic told me that it sounded like a fuel issue causing the engine to fail. When I told him that that was impossible because Walla Walla cdjr had just recently performed safety recall Y78, the mechanic told me to come with him out to my vehicle and he could tell me within 3 seconds of lifting my hood if the safety recall was performed correctly. We went outside where the vehicle had been dropped off and he proceeds to tell me that the recall was not done according to Chrysler safety recall why 78 at all. He explained to me that all they had done was replaced the pump which was not the protocol for this issue. When a vehicle has to be towed into the dealership regarding safety recall Y78 (the high pressure fuel pump) (also the second time my vehicle would be towed in for this issue after(walla walla cdjr) claiming to have performed this recall repair) because the vehicle is in a not drivable condition, they have to replace lines, rails, injectors, they also have to drop the fuel tanks, and they also have to replace the internal lift pump inside of the tanks as well. And this is due to the fact that when this fuel pump blows out it shoots metal through the entire system which can cause catastrophic damage to the rest of the power train and fuel system. The Lithia Dodge dealership in ********* ********** helped me battle not only against Walla Walla cdjr for the cost of repairs, but also Chrysler corporate with their investigation, showing that due to EXTREME negligence of the Walla Walla dealership, and lying about doing safety recall repair work, that this issue was caused by them and could have been avoided, if they would have done it correctly and not lied about what they did. They had made several statements to Chrysler corporate to cover their tracks about the chain of events surrounding why this recall was having to be done again, and when they told Chrysler to have me bring the vehicle to them to do the recall repair the right way, Chrysler corporate responded with "you already claimed to have done this recall repair, but you lied, so now you have to pay ****** in ********* over ***** dollars for the repairs being done AGAIN to the truck in question. Even though the repairs were paid for by Walla Walla with the fuel pump issue and Recall why 78 the total amount of downtime I was forced to take due to these events was over four and a half months(i have signed paperwork from lithia and chrysler backing this, and also drop off and pickup dates as well). It has caused irreparable damage to my financial standing. I have lost my place to live, I have been sent to collections on everything else trying like crazy not to lose the truck, trailer, or my commercial insurance policy, the total damages from that are right around 400 points off my credit score, it also burned a very serious bridge with my aunt, who was willing to back me until everything got sorted out, and now she won't even speak to me. Every single month I was out of service Not only was I getting sent to collections on everything but scrambling to either borrow or cover the cost of the almost $6,000 a month in truck, trailer, and commercial insurance payments was extremely hard to do. I owe my aunt close to 60k, and I have lost everything in the process of just trying to hold out to get my company up and going. Over the course of the seven and a half months of downtime I've probably lost anywhere from ******* to $400,000 in business due to interference with business relations thanks to title issues and negligence on repair work by Walla Walla ccdjr. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit in the range of ******* to ******* due to everything that's happened. The original attorney *********************** said this is a low figure considering everything I've lost. On top of everything else, with all the stress of everything this dealership has caused, I've been in the hospital twice with heart attack symptoms, directly related to the stress caused by these events, not health issues, i can also provide documentationand diagnosis from these visits as well, one trip had me in a life flight vehicle racing me to the eighthfloor of ****** Hospital in ******** **********. What they've done is not okay, and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. This dealership literally took my entire world and turned it upside down, and I have no way of fixing ANY OF IT without serious compensation for everything I've been through.

I took my vehicle in for repairs to have it repaired back to OEM specs. The repairs were not done correctly and some of the repairs that were supposed to be made were not even touched. They were paid over $10,000.00 and I got my truck back with Zip Ties holding the wiring harness togather and also attaching it to the frame. One wiring plug that I had tried to repair but could not was still the same and not touched and they had said it needed to be replaced. They also had my truck for about 4 months so they had plenty of time to fix it correctly.

      To whom it may concern,

We apologize for the response being on the second notice.  We apparently didn't receive the first one.

************** had his vehicle towed in stating it would not start or run, please check and advise.  We checked the vehicle and found there where 29 DTCs. Visual inspection found the front fender liners removed and  there were several engine wiring harness connectors damaged and/or unhooked. At this point we contacted the customer to find out if there was more information he could share with us.  ************** stated after hitting a tumble weed his vehicle died on him and had tried to fix it himself and thats why the inner fender liners were removed and the connectors were unhooked and damaged.  He also stated that he had tried to replace the WIN module (ignition switch) so he had to remove several panels from the instrument panel on the inside of the vehicle.  Further diagnosis found that some of the wiring harnesses were damaged beyond repair and needed replacement.  At this time ************** started an insurance claim to get his vehicle repaired due to the high cost.  The correct parts needed were on a national backorder status and took several weeks/months to receive (multiple parts ordered).  Once the parts were received they were installed so we could continue with repairs.  The vehicle would now start and run however there was a check engine light on caused from exhaust filter failure.  This part was not related to the tumble weed damage and therefore not covered by his insurance.  He agreed to pay for those repairs.  This repair added several more days to the time of repair.  It was not necessary to replace all of the vehicles wiring harnesss  for this repair and the connectors ************** is referring to were the ones he had himself damaged.  It is our duty to return the vehicle to the same condition it was in before the accident. NOT MAKE IT NEW.

3 of the damaged electrical connectors were not replaced even though thy were right beside connectors that were replaced. To make matters worse they Zip-tied the plugs togather on 2 of them and then Zip-tied one of them to another wiring harness that was connected to the frame. I had put Zip-ties originally when I tried to repair it myself and they said that was most of the problem is because it could not make a proper connection that way and then thy removed the ties off of one of the connectors and put it back togather with Zip-ties yet again. This is not an *** Repair and that is why I took it to them in the first place was so it would be repaired back to its Original State - not as a new vehicle.  If I took this in to trade it off and the dealer seen the wiring harness tied togather with Zip-ties the value would go to nothing and that's what I have now is nothing. To make matters worse, the radio needed to be replaced and I agreed to an aftermarket one since they claim that the *** radio is no longer available. It was supposed to be comparable to the original but I ended up with a cheap unit that has no reception at all.I also went to put fuel in it and the gas station attendant said there was no filler hose. I had to get under the truck and hold up the fuel tank hose so he could fill it because it was cot re-connected.

The service department said that all damaged wiring components would be replaced. That is why I why I took it to them is because I was assured that I would get quality repairs. This is not Quality.

I have attached photos of the repaired work that was preformed for $10,000.00.
