Services begun 3/15/2022 Services complete 3/26/2022 Actual paid by me to business: $2,619 Actual amount invoiced: $10,550 Actual amount in dispute: $7,931 Work: requested entire interior home repainted for new home move in. Walls, ceilings, trim, and a few doors. Selected and scoped colors, sheen, paint quality level, and quality of professional workmanship requested.Issue: home final result, nearly across every room, wall, ceiling, trim, have issues. I console the paint coverage. Some areas have sheen, some do not. Messy and obvious texturing. Incredibly visible brush and roller marks in random patches and patterns across all walls. Partial walls incomplete and spotty pain, really poor edging work create ************** on the ceilings. Paint damage to 80% of living room hardwood floors, paint in all seams and cracks, and haze across from smeared paint (wont come off). Pant splattered and water spread across many areas of outdoor stamped and sealed concrete. Paint splattered on exterior siding.Asked company to fix or heavily discount. They chose to not fix. However they only will discount by $1500. This is a laughable Al offer after their poor poor quality and damage to our new home. Company threatened to work this out in court, which I welcomed as I think that would get us to a closer and more reasonable resolution given the extreme issues at hand. I offered to pay $2,000 more on top of the already $2619 paid (which covered all paint cost), to cover work they did to repair existing wall settling cracks (which is obvious to repairs in final result), and some portion of labor. Invoice terms guaranteed job would be done in 5-6 days or 7 **** The company is complaining to me that they had to work 12hr 12 days, and that they deserve to be paid. So they went over time, over invoice, and did a completely inadequate and unprofessional job. I will have to now pay to have my floors refinished and concrete fixed. On top of repainting the home.
