On July 18th Shawn Silva, DBA Silva Irrigation came and assessed our irrigation problem. We were told we needed a self-priming irrigation pump. He also told us he had one for $600 but if we could find one cheaper he would still install it for us. I paid him $135 that day and told him we would buy one from ********** for $400. He said let him know when we got it and he would be out to install. He told me he had to have $250 down of a $561.60 fee. He came and got that check on July 19th. The pump arrived July 22nd. We called him. He said he would be out Monday at 8am. He did not show up. Contacted Shawn and he said they would be out the next day which would be July 27th. I told him I had cataract surgery at 11:30 that day and recovery time was two hours and my daughter had to drive me. He said they would call before coming out. They did not call and no one was here to let them into the back yard to turn off the electricity to the pump. They left without doing any of the work. I texted him and he told me no one was here so they left. The earliest they could work me in was the next week on a Thursday. They did not show up all day. I texted him and told him the electricity was off the dogs were locked in the house as I had my second eye surgery that day. They did not show up.Texted him again. No response. And again the next day same thing. Finally on August 3rd I ask if I could get a refund of the $250. He agreed saying they just do not have the time. He would put the check in the mail the next day. After waiting six days I had not received the refund so I texted him again. He said he would bring the check himself out the next day. He did not show up. I texted him on Saturday. He said they had a fire on their property at Linn. He would contact his accountant to get the refund to me. That has not happened as far as I know and he will not answer his phone.
