  On 9/25/2022 I hired Mr. ****************** to repair my chimney and he was going to repair all of the cracks, power wash chimneys, add some flashing as needed, new concrete caps and new flue caps. He showed up at 7 am the next day to start the repairs and Mr. ****************** and I discussed putting in a new cleanout door the old one was worn out. Mr. ****************** to get the new chimney flue caps and a clean out door. He left his crew of 2 workers they stayed and started working on the chimneys ( 2 of them) then after approx. 6 to 7 hours he came back. The crew ground out as many cracks as they wanted to do and was filling in the cracks while Mr. ****************** worked on the new concrete caps and installed the new flue caps he did a good job on that. They was here 10 hours. At the end of the day they packed up and left and I went out to look at their work and they forgot to finish one side of the chimney so I called them and they came right back and finished what they missed. The other chimney looked good. After looking closer at the chimney that had the cracks they missed a few of them so I painted around them so they could fix them when the new clean out door came in and they messed up the flashing but I took care of that. I tried to contact Mr. ****************** numerous times than I got a response from him by text on 10/20/2022 he said that the clean out door came in and it was a little bigger than what I have. I asked him when he could put it in and fix the cracks he said maybe Monday then on the 10/24/2022 he stated it was to wet and rainy. That was the last time we communicated. I have been trying to contact him by text and cell phone with no luck. I paid him $2700.00 on 9/27/2022 on good faith and with an agreement that he was going to finish the job putting in the new clean out door and fixing the cracks that they missed. I just want him to finish the job he was supposed to do. I don't want to do any legal action but if I have to, I will take him to small claims court.
