I rented an apartment from this agency. 6 months into the lease, my child father left us and took the rent money. I informed the office manager right away. I let him know I would have the money, but it would be a week late. He called the owner and the owner refused to take late money without the interest, which was an additional 25 dollars a day. Bring my total up to almost eight hundred. He stated if I did not pay the entire of the late charges, they could continue to charge me 25 every day. I explained to the office manager that I would have to take a few days off work to find child care since my child's father was a stay at home dad. The office manager suggested I give up my child to pay the rent. In the one week after my rent was due, the maintenance man took the ceiling fan and light out of my 1-year-old's room while I was at work. I was also promised a new lock, which also did not happen. There were drug raids and homless ppl knocking on our door at all hours. They refused to replace the fire extinguisher. And the shower was broken for months prior, forcing us to take showers at a gym and causing my one-year-old to get second degree *****. I have been advised if I can not get this cleared up to contact the attorney general.Business response
