Hyundai Case#******** Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to bring to your attention my recent experience with my local Hyundai dealership in Yakima, Washington, and their communication efforts with the Hyundai **************** regarding my 100,000-mile warranty claim. Despite being a loyal customer who purchased a *************************** ****** from this dealership and had no issues for the entire ownership, I have unfortunately faced a significant challenge. Hyundai Corporate has denied my claim, stating "failure being exceptional maintenance neglect, no warrantable defect" (attachment 1). I have always maintained my vehicle and followed the recommended maintenance schedule, even changing oil earlier than recommended. It is unfair that my claim has been denied as I take extreme care and attention to my vehicle.I am seeking your assistance in resolving this issue and reaching a satisfactory outcome. I believe that the Hyundai brand and its dealerships should stand behind their products and provide support to customers facing such issues.For a summary - please see attachments.The local dealership was instructed by Corporate to take photos of the faulty engine parts in a warranty claim, but I am skeptical about the necessity of this action. My local mechanic believes that the photos may not accurately depict the issue, and the Hyundai mechanic is unwilling to share the communications and photos between Corporate and himself with me.Despite my efforts to fully comply with warranty requirements, my claim was denied. The Hyundai mechanic suggested I write a review to the BBB as I refused a non-warranty repair and am seeking resolution to my claim. Again, I am very disappointed with this denial based on "failure being exceptional maintenance neglect, no warrantable defect" as a loyal customer and request help in resolving the matter.Thank you for your time and attention.
