I had a number of issues with Shephard's Plumbing and their work on my property. The initial quote for the work on my greenhouse and other sinks was increased due to the need for hand digging, which led to additional costs for broken sprinkler repairs and damaged solar lights. The work on the greenhouse sink and shower plumbing also had issues and needed to be redone. I also had issues getting a quote and having the tankless water heater installed, and it took several calls to get a quote. The work on the **** unit and tankless heater were eventually done, but the water filter was not included and the job was not completed. Lastly, I experienced issues with my heated floors not working properly, and it was discovered that they had been gutted. It seems that there were multiple issues with Shephard's Plumbing's work and communication throughout the process. I later found out via admissions of the owner that they had no experience with installing the unit I actually needed. And they didn't pull permits which I also have to pay for.Business response

In regards to the recent complaint.
Shephard Plumbing aims to please our customers and deliver a great service! That being said our "Work order System" allows to send and create jobs. Upon starting any job a ''Lined item" list of the scope of work is listed. This project did in fact have a tankless water heater installed. The tankless that was installed was the exact unit specified on the scope of work invoice, which the customer paid for in full upon completion. Attached is a copy of the invoice which states method of payment and type of heater installed. Shephard plumbing does not install in-floor heating nor do we ever plan to. The unit that was installed was discussed with the customer and there was no mention of any heating floors or system! That would have been discussed with her HVAC company. We have done and installed everything that we agreed to do which again is listed on the invoice that she paid for in full. The amount of harassments we have received via social media and all other platforms is down right wrong! We do not go out of our way to install something that isn't part of the scope of work. Shephards plumbing will continue to provide and great and honest service to our community!
* Shephard plumbing will not be responsible for replacing the unit as it was agreed upon installation and paid for in full.
* There has been reported issues regarding this customer amongst other contractor's. We feel that this may be a pattern into some reference.

I am rejecting this response because:As per admission of their employee, the job was never finished. This was conveyed to me when they came out to see why my heated floors weren't working in the first place. The fact that I paid it is not acceptance of work without warranty on said work. If that were the case, you wouldn't have two years to file in court for faulty work. I never asked this company to install my heated flooring. I ALREADY had existing heated flooring, that worked perfectly BEFORE the **** company they hired removed the connections. The fact of the matter is I DID discuss my EXISTING heated flooring TO THEIR PLUMBERS WHO CAME TO DO THE *** FOR THE NEW UNIT. We discussed this at length because I wanted the piping to be cleaner, and they told me the could reroute a lot of it under the floor. The fact alone that Shephards Plumbing provided a quote with the correct unit to fix the issue, is proof enough that they installed the incorrect unit.
The most ridiculous part is that they said I didn't tell them about the heated flooring AND THEN LATER SAID they were told I didn't want them. Also, claiming they would have contacted and **** person to do that work. Welllll, they DID call an **** company because they had me replace my **** unit at the same time.
Leaving a bad review on social media and ****** is within my rights. Not harassment. I have since been contacted by several people who have similar complaints of this company not finishing their jobs, or not fixing issues, over charging, etc.
