I am a 70 year old widow, surviving on social security and retirement. Approximately **** months ago I interviewed ************* to make concrete steps for my back deck. He quoted me a price of $1,400 and asked for half the money up front ($700) so he could get the supplies. I called him numerous times and finally he showed up and did the framing during the summer. Since that time I have not had the job completed nor have I heard from him. I have called and texted him MANY times and the only response I received was that he had injured his feet during the summer.At this point, I want my $700 returned and to warn prospective customers of his underhanded way of doing business.Thank you for your help.Initial Complaint

John A*** bid a job and gave us a schedule for a concrete job. We paid 1/2 of the money and two months later he has not done the job and refuses to take my calls or respond to texts and he keeps his mailbox full so no message can be left. I fired him via text due to this but he refuses to return my funds. This guy is a liar and a cheat.
