            On November 27, 2023 Crunch sent charges of $235 dollars to collections that I am just seeing now for the first time.Before this happened, I asked them to cancel my membership over the phone. They told me I needed to be in person, so then I asked in person at the front desk. The front desk employee told me they would take care of it. I was not attending the gym after that, as I switched to a different gym not affiliated with Crunch.I did not see any further bills from them until now when my credit score dropped 7 points because of this bill.I was under the impression I was no longer a member and charges were racking up under my name. I heard of this happening to other members as well when I was looking into if I should get a membership there but I figured it was location specific and due to the specific owner of the franchise location.I have not reached out to the business since seeing this claim and I have disputed the charges.

            I used to work here and experienced horrible workplace etiquette. Incredibly high turnover rate lead to the franchise owners caring very little about positive employee experience. And the fact that theyre family-owned made the work/life balance in the job impossible. Everyone called the owners wife mom and she would ask personal questions to the point of violating HIPAA. Asking employees if they were on medication, etc. they also take advantage of employees giving notice and instead fire them immediately by saying they accept resignation immediately. Insanely inappropriate workplace with equally terrible pay and choice in management. Terrible people overall even though they play off being polite and professional.
