Clean water was hired to inspect my well and septic and report all damages so the seller would fix them before I bought my home. They failed to do so. The inspection itself was $425. I have bills from the repair company if needed upon arriving at clean water with a griend fir support they clearly rand interference on me, refused to show me any pictures they took of the septic on my property, which was a huge red flag after the fact. After the clear attempts to hide something from me, refusing to show me the images they took ehich to me seems underhanded and unethical. I am only asking for the company to be responsible for their neglect and poor training or certification of employees. A business who's operating within the law, morally and ethically wouldn't be hiding pictures they took, wouldn't be treating or talking to me different because I'm a woman but they did. I have an unbiased witness to this specific conversation at their headquarters and he is willing to be contacted if requested by the BBB.

My husband and I paid for the testing of the well and septic and also the inspection the seller of the property was to fix anything found in the inspection before we purchased the home. Clean water testing and clean water Center are the same company / location. I know that's because I went in person to talk to clean water to try and understand why they didn't see their holes in my septic tank that were leaking water. They tried to say that because it wasn't raining the day they inspected the tank they couldn't see that it was leaking water into the tank.

Thank you for notifying us of this complaint.  Clean Water Testing did complete an inspection of the well and septic system and the described location in August 2023.  Please note that while Clean Water Center and Clean Water Testing are in the same building and work closely together they are not the same business.

During the inspection it was noted that there were deficiencies including the holding tank vent pipes were damaged and that ground water could potentially leak into the holding tanks causing them to need to be pumped more frequently (Deficiency 3 in the septic inspection report the customer submitted).  During our first visit to the home the holding tank was full and it was noted that the alarm was not working.  The inspectors were unable to view the tank at that time.  After the tank had been pumped Clean Water Testing came back out and inspected the tank including taking pictures.  At the time of the inspection there was no leaking into the tank as can be seen in the attached pictures.  At the time of the inspection there were no visible structural issues to the tank other than noted deficiencies on the report.

We apologize if the customer felt we were talking down to her when she visited, that is never our intent.  The goal during the conversation was to relay the information of what can be found during an inspection.  It is also standing policy to provide pictures at the request of customers. We have some of the pictures from this inspection attached and are happy and willing to share any others with the customer.

If environmental conditions are not present to expose certain potential failings of a system they can not be inspected.  All inspections are a snap shot in time of what is happening at that moment.
