I can say as a former employee of WOW (Dairy Gold facility) that this has been one of the most unprofessional & bigoted jobs I have had. The lead that was on my shift, Jacob B*** routinely came in high as a kite (pic above in dispensary during work hours, also pictured is the night shift lead ), barely did anything, but engaged in dangerous behavior that honestly put people's lives on the line. I am referring to a milk spill that occured where we were instructed to use the mop bucket designated for "Dairy use only", instead of complying with the regulations (allergen hazard). Our lead (Jacob) took it upon himself to use the mop bucket designated for egg nog and when told we weren't suppose to do that, he responded by saying, " don't be a wuss". Mold was also a severe problem in the warehouse and the company failed to provide proper working machines to clean up the mess. For the last 5 months I was there we did not have a working Zamboni, instead of sucking up the milk, all it did was smear it across the floor into the dry parts, so that it would appear clean, this resulted in severe cases of mold, that had not been addressed. It is above my comprehension as to why the FDA has not investigated these and many other hazards that are routinely being done in well established organizations like Dairy Gold.
